Never so helpless, so weak, so vulnerable,

So stereotypically feminine.

He shielded me from the leers of everyone else, fighting between two ultimatums in his head.

Me.

Them.

“Wasn’t that the question all along?” I whispered to him. His body stiffened and I laughed. He was still indecisive. He knew why. I knew why. I knew that I’d lost my battle.

“It’s okay. I’ll be fine. Wherever I’m going after this, I’ll be fine.”

My heart faltered.

Death.

Freedom.

hello! this is the first story that I'm determined to finish, so I hope I can gain some support. All previous writings of mine have been deleted, because they were really bad and shallow. I'm going to try incorporating actual thought into this story, so if anyone gets confused, don't worry. You're supposed to be XD

Hope you all enjoy!
