𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟴 : Study.. Sleepover Group.

(name) walked into his class, greeting some of his classmates as he passed by. It was the usual morning, nothing unusual. That's what he thought, until he saw Bokuto. From what he remembered, Bokuto is a cheerful person who had a cute, dumb smile on his face.

This time around, Bokuto looked.. awful. His eyes were red and puffy, his hair was let down- unlike his usual spiky hair, and it was very messy. And he was just sitting there, staring into nothingness.

(name) sat down to his assigned seat which was next to Bokuto and turned to examined his classmate. A pang of guilt hit him since it was most likely to be his fault. He shook the thought off immediately, he didn't want to stress over what he doesn't have a memory of.

It sounded harsh, yes, but he already had a handful of things to stress at. Tests, upcoming festival, the band, and many more. He didn't want to risk his sanity. Pulling out a book, he took his pen and tapped it against his book, thinking of what to write. He closed his eyes to think for a bit.

"Oi, (first name)!" (name) looked up to see Akito waving at him, motioning him to come outside. The redhead gave him an inspiration. He quickly scribbled something on his book and tore a small part of it, he stood up and walked out to meet Akito. Before that, he put the piece of paper on Bokuto's desk, whispering a soft, "Please read this."

The seemingly lifeless male moved his hand to take the paper in his hand. He watched as (name) left the classroom with Akito to god knows where. Out of all people (name) choose to be with, he chose Akito. He finally looked at the paper and read what was inside.

Written inside was, "Please find someone/something that is more important than me and be happy! :)" in messy handwriting that seemed to be rushed. His heart dropped as tears started to stream down his face. One thing for sure, his plans on getting (name) back would be cancelled, seeing (name) has given his heart to Akito.

What Bokuto didn't know was that (name)'s heart wasn't in Akito's hand.

Outside the classroom, near the vending machine where (name) and Akito were at, something similar was being talked about. "Sooo.. did something happen between you and Bokuto?" Akito asked as he leaned against the wall, drinking a strawberry milk.

Akito saw how (name) stiffened for a second before relaxing again. "Nothing happened," (name) answered, his voice barely audible as he bent down to take his drink from the vending machine.

Saying nothing happened was the easy part, making Akito convinced was not. (name) could feel the piercing gaze from Akito, and he knew the latter wouldn't push the topic, but he was sure it will be brought up later.

"I just forget things, and I guess our relationship is fucked up?" (name) said, even though his friend didn't ask anything. He sighed, looking at the drink in his hand.  "Have you ever forgotten about someone you're close with?"

The redhead tilted his head slightly at the question, "No, not that I know of. I mean, if I forget about someone, I won't remember them. Meaning, I wouldn't be aware of it, you know?" He answered, making (name) chuckle lightly.

The two walked back into class while still talking, and when they reached inside, (name) realized that the seat beside him was vacant.

After school (name) walked with Akito to the latter's home, saying Tetsuro invited him to a study group. Jin and Tatsuya who were coincidentally passing by the duo, decided to join the study group. Jin was in his third year, so that would be helpful, thought (name) as the three younger students drag the poor third year to the station.
