Y/and POV

I walks into Fives room to see him staring out of the window, I'm tempted to read his mind but I don't. He turns around and sees me, "reading my mind?" He says and sits down, "no but I was tempted." I say walking over and sitting next to him.

"I haven't seen you in so long." I say looking at my shoes. I don't know what to say, I haven't seen him in 17 years and I've loved him forever. "I missed you." He says, lifting my chin so I'm looking at him. "How have you not aged?" He let's go of my chin and Look at me, "Hargreaves saved my life by aging me backwards, it was the only way to save me." I say while looking back at my shoes.

"Oh." Five says looking down. I look back at him, he looks back up at me. "How much of our conversation in the kitchen did you hear? How much do I have to explain?" Five asked, "I heard it all." He nods his head. "Well I should get going." He stands up I stand up after him, "where do you have to go?" I ask, kinda hurt he's leaving me. "It doesn't matter." He says. He's about to walk out when he turns back around and hugs me again,

"I meant it when I said I missed you!" I don't ever want to leave this hug, but after about 15 seconds it ended. "Y/N, I'm leaving." I heard Vanya yell from down stairs. "I have to go, I live with Vanya." I say, "okay. Wait." I stop and turn, "how old are you?" I smile a little causing five to smile, "28." I say he smiles and I walk out of the room, down the huge staircase and to Vanya who is waiting for me. "Let's go?" She ask I nod.

     We go outside and there is an Uber waiting for us. We get in and go home. At home Vanya goes to her room and I go to mine. I decide to sleep. 30 minutes later I hear Vanya talking to some one in the living room. I walk out to see her taking to five, I stand and listen,

"I survived on scraps, caned food, cockroaches, anything I can find." He chuckles, his voice is scratchy, "you know that rumor that twinkies have and endless shelf life? Well it's total bullshit." Vanya is listening intently. Five notices me, "come sit Y/N."

I do as he says and sit on the couch next to Vanya. "I can't even imagine." Vanya relies to what she just heard from five. "You whatever it takes to survive, or you die. so we adapted. Whatever the world threw at us, we found a way to over come it." Five says, "we?" Vanya replies, with a puzzlers look, "got anything stronger?" Five says holding up the cup in his hand. Vanya gets up and pours his a cup of whiskey, 1/4 full. Me and five sit there is silence. Him on the chair across from the couch. And me on the couch. I tried to take in what he was saying,

"your shy now?" He asks me. I shoot me head up and look at him, "no just haven't seen you in a while, I don't know what to say." Vanya walks back over with the cup and hands it to five, who takes a sip. He stand in front of Vanya, "you think I'm crazy." He smirks. "No." She starts to stammer, "it's just a lot to take in." She says

"exactly what don't you understand?"

"Why didn't you just time travel back?"

Five scoffs then starts being sarcastic, "gee. Wish I would Have thought of that."

He starts being serious, "time travel is a crapshoot, I went into the ice and never acorned. You think I didn't try everything to try and get back to my family?"

Vanya nods, obviously still skeptical, "if you grew old there, you know, in the apocalypse, how come you still look like a kid?" Five starts to get annoyed,

"I told you already, I must have got the equations wrong."

"I mean dad always used to say that..."

five pours more drink, "...time travel could mess up your mind. Well, maybe that's what's happening?"

"This was a mistake," five starts while walking away, "your too young... to naïve to under stand." He grabs his coat off of the table, "no five...five wait." He stops at the door and pauses for a second, then turns back around,

"I haven't seen you in a long time, and I don't want to loose you again. That's all. And you know what, it's getting late, and... I have lessons early, and I need to sleep, and I'm sure you do, too." Vanya walks to the couch and I get up, "here, we'll talk in the morning again, okay? I promise." She moves a pillow and Blanket to the couch for five to sleep. "Night." Vanya walks away.

"I should go to bed too." I say, turning around. "Wait." I hear five say, I turn back around and walk back to him, "yeah five?" He sighs and looks at the ground, then back up at me. "You believe me right." I nod my head. I do believe him. "Thanks you."
He pulls me in for a hug, after a minute he pulls away and cuffs my face in his hands, "not a day went by I don't think of you, I missed you so much." This makes you blush a little, you smile, causing five to smile as well, "wow a true smile, rare from five."
He laughed, they kissed me on the forehead. "Night." He says laying down on the couch, "night." I say walking down the hallway. I stop and turn back around to say something, but five is gone.
