Violet p.o.v

I had returned to New york to live with my cousin and his son and at first i taught it would be a normal time for me but i was wrong because i was playing fetch with...a t-rex yeah thats right a real dinosaur well more of a museum piece.

-3 days ago-

"Aww come on larry pls let me join you tonight,nicky told me how the exhibits come to life and i wanna see pls let me see"i whined while larry kept running around the apartment to gather his stuff, he grumbled as he replied"fine but im telling you,youll hate it" "no i wont" i smiled as he finally gave in."Fine"he sighed as he headef out the door. Quicky i grabbed my stuff and followed him out the doors but before that i went up to the 18 year old teenager and tapped his shoulder "no PARTIES GOT IT" he salutes and i leave giggling. When we arrived at the museum i was surprised to only see larry as a guard. He locked the front doors and looked around before smiling and yelling out "Wakey Wakey people i have someone for you to meet" he chuckled as i let out a yelp when the wax statue of teddy came up to me and greeted me. "Larry who is this maiden youve brought her tonight with you" a calm smooth voice asked,i turned to answer when my eyes met some blue ones. Before i could answer i noticed the room was filled with the exhibits walking and talking thats when i noticed the man in front of me dressed like an egyptian prince,i smiled as Larry introduced me "Everyone this is my cousin Violet,she will be stayomg with me and following me here every night now that she knows you all are alive" i smile sheepishly as i looked at everyone "uhh hi" i greeted "nice to meet you Violet,im Teddy Roosevelt" "nice to meet you too sir" i giggled."oh Lawrence your cousin is so very sweet and nice why didn't you tell us about her sooner and pls do call me teddy dear Violet" he smiled and walked to who appeared to be Sacajawea. "Yeah umm well I didn't tell you about her because she's adopted, there now you know" he turns to me and smirks "oh really im adopted huh" "yeah so sorry you had to find out this way my dear Vi -OW!" He was cut off when I flipped him over and as I smirked down at him, I heard everyone laughing "my your cousin seems to be quite strong Larry" the mysterious prince said as he came to stand beside me "I am Ahkmenrah fourth king of the fourth king ruler of the land of my fathers, it is a pleasure to meet you Ms.Violet" he bows slightly before helping Larry up I blush slightly when he looked at me and smiled "ok fine your not adopted you win vi, thanks for the help up Ahk" "no problem Larry"

Yep that's why I'm playing with a t-Rex,and taking to Theodore Roosevelt "hey Nicky" I greeted Nicky as he came up to me and hugged me "sup Violet" "Violet how old are you really because you look a little older then Nick here and a lot younger then Lawrence" teddy asked while looking I. Between me and Nicky "hmm oh me I'm only 20 yeah Nicky was born 2 years after me and Larry is only what 1000 years old" suddenly I felt a light hit on my head, I turned to see Larry standing there,"I'm not 1000 years old I'm only 50 got it kiddo" he chuckles,not amused I decided to go to ahkmenrah's tomb,once there I quickly run inside and hide behind Ahk when he sees me, confused slightly he asks"what's wrong Violet" "oh nothing ahh right on time" I smirk as I look at the jackals yell up to them quickly in Egyptian to make sure he didn't get through and surprisingly they listened "where did you learn how to speak Egyptian" ahkmenrah asks as he tells the jackals to let Larry through,"I learnt it on the way here,thought I might need it" I smiled at Larry as he glares daggers at me.
"Very funny Vi now stop messing around I said I was sorry for hitting you" he pouts as I walk past him with Ahkmenrah just behind me "do you two normally argue or act like this" "nah we're just like this when we're bored that's all nothing to worry about" as we continue to walk in a comfortable silence,I started to blush at how close he was to me,his hand grazed mine as we walked into the main entrance to find Nicky upside down caught in rexy's mouth. "Oh no" I gasp as Nicky starts yelling for help, I run up to the t-Rex and smile up at Nicky "must I ask" I said as I folded my arms crossed my chest,"rexie pls put down Nicky now" Ahkmenrah asked politely,carefully rexie placed Nicky down and walked off but in the process his tail knocked me slightly and I stumbled into Ahkmenrah,I turned to face him and apologise when I realised how close we were. Instantly my face turned as red as a tomato,he smiled as he slowly leaned in close to me,I started to lean in as well when our lips were just millimetres apart and we were about to kiss, Larry burst into the room yelling for everyone to return back to their exhibits as it was only 20 minutes till sunrise,reluctantly Ahkmenrah let me go and took my hand as he led us to his exhibit once there he turned to me and kissed me passionately,shocked at first I slowly kissed back. When we both needed air he pulled apart and smiled at me before saying "see you soon my sweet Violet" he kisses my cheek and goes back to lie in his tomb, I walk out of the museum to find Nicky and Larry there waiting for me, "hiya peeps" I said as I walked past them towards the direction of the apartment,"I'm exhausted,Vi carry me" Larry and Nicky both whine as they lean on me "oh hell no, your on your own" I say as I shoved them off me and got into our apartment elevator once we reached the apartment I slumped down onto the couch and take out my computer and looked up about ancient Egypt, I had have been deciding to become an Egyptologist for a long time now and hopefully I can get a job at the New York museum so I can work with Larry, and see Ahkmenrah more but my thoughts were cut short when Nicky slumped down on the couch with me and told me to get off so he could have a nap, "geez fine" I lightly slap his shoulder before walking off to my room to get a few Zs myself, during that time I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss both me and Ahk shared, I can't wait to see Ahkmenrah soon.
