Chapter 2

I was heading out the door when Larry called out to me."hey Vi you coming to the museum tonight" he asks from the dinning table,a smile make a way to my face as I turn back to him and reply"OF COURSE,I wouldn't miss a chance to go again" "alright be back before 6 because I'm leaving early"he tells me.i tell him okay and head out the door to the mall to meet up with a few friends. Once there I see my best friend lea and my other friends waiting for me near forever 21 I smile and run to them,we exchange hellos and start our little shopping spree. "So Violet, you meet anyone special lately" my friend Jenna asks as we walk into forever21 to look at clothes "nah,well maybe this one guy but..oh I don't know."I say blushing as I grab a dress from a rack and head off to try it on."what do you mean you don't know" lea asks fangirling slightly at the thought that I may or may not have a boyfriend. "Well he and I kissed once and well I don't know how he feels about me, I mean it could have ment anything right" I say as I step out of the dressing room to show off the dress I was wearing"yeah but if you meet him again you should ask him what the kiss meant to him" jenna says as she admires the dress

-time skip -

I laugh at the taught of Ahkmenrah a pharaoh over 4000 years old liking me I mean I'm not beautiful or anything and I'm far from girlfriend material,and it might not work out between us because in the day I won't see him and I'll only see him at night when the tablet awakens everyone in the museum and he will most likely outlive me.i sigh at the taught when Larry came into the living room and sat in the sofa with me. "What's wrong cousin of mine" he asks as he puts one arm around me and hugs me. "What would you say if I had a crush on Ahkmenrah uhh just saying" I say as I close my eyes and lean my head on Larry's shoulder"well I would say go for it because you seem like you need a guy in your life well someone to look out for you and you want to become an Egyptologist right so Ahkmenrah could help you with that but that doesn't mean I don't think it will work out but you never know" he explains as he releases me and walks to grab his keys. I follow him out the door and to the museum as we walked in silence i decided to tell him about the kiss Ahkmenrah and I shared. "Larry" I say while looking at the ground."yes Vi" he answers

"There's something I need to tell you,*sighs* Ahkmenrah and I kissed two nights ago and I really like him" I say slightly worried about what Larry would say because we were just outside of the museum doors and he might tell me to go home and yell at me. He tenses when he hears my words but soon relaxes he turns to me and smiles and hugs me"that great coz,I happy for you and I'm sure Ahk likes you too" he says as we enter the museum and we go to the guard room to wait for people to leave and when they do we walk out and I walk to the Egyptian exhibit. I smile as I see the tablet glow and I start hearing the museum come to life I move my eyes from the tablet to the sarcophagus that held the Egyptian pharaoh inside I turn around and sigh,I close my eyes for a second to think about what I'm going to tell Ahk when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist "I was wondering when you would return" the calm smooth voice tells me as i turn too look at Ahkmenrah I blush and wrap my arms around his neck."what is bothering you Violet" he asks with concern in his eyes, I smile at his concern for me it had been awhile since someone cared for me "nothing it's just,well it's stupid" I say as I let go of him and walk to the tablet which glow came to an end signalling that the entire museum was now awake. "Tell me" Ahkmenrah beckons me as he stands beside me."what did you....think of the kiss we shared two nights ago" I ask blushing,worry clearly etched into my eyes as I looked to the ground so I would not see ahkmenrah's shocked face. "I think it has been awhile since I last saw someone so beautiful such as yourself and has been too long since I fell in love,I kissed that night because i like you Violet and I think your very beautiful,intelligent and how you are in love with the Egyptian history amazes me. If you were with me all those years ago when I was alive you would have been my queen for the very start of my kingly life,you see Violet I love you and I would do anything for you" Ahkmenrah says as he brings me close to him,i look at him and I feel tears flow down my cheeks. He wipes away my tears "do not cry my love" I giggle as he looks at me with concern "I'm crying tears of joy don't worry *sniff* it's because it's been so long since anyone cared for me and said such sweet things,I love you too Ahkmenrah"I say as I wipe away my tears and kiss him gently, he kisses me back almost instantly. He deepens the kiss as he wraps his arms around my waist, he licks my bottom lip asking for entrance I smirk as I denied entrance. He growls and pins me against the wall, then he slides his hand from my waist to my bottom and grabs my bottom,I yell at the sudden contact and he takes the advantage and lips his tongue into my mouth. He explores every inch as I moan into the kiss,he smirks but before we could continue our little make out session I heard Larry calling out to me as we heard him enter the Egyptian exhibit Ahkmenrah and I split apart both blushing we walk out to see Larry being fended off by the jackal guards. "Right here Larry" I say and walk to him still blushing." Ummm did I miss something here" he says as he gestures between me and Ahkmenrah who was blushing so badly as I "nope" I say as I walk out of the exhibit and jog towards Sacajawea was, I smile at her "umm teddy can I borrow Sacajawea for awhile" I ask teddy"of course dear Violet" he says as he gives her a kiss on the back of her hand and walks to Larry. "What is it" she asks as we walk through the museum "I told Ahkmenrah I loved him,I did it" I say, and Sacajawea hugs me "I knew you too would end up together" she says squealing slightly you see Sacajawea and I were like best friends but no one could replace my best friend lea. She and I would talk together like normal friends would and she was the first one to encourage me to tell Ahkmenrah how I felt. We giggled as we walked on talking and laughing at the same time.

Ahkmenrah's pov

I watched as Violet and Sacajawea were talking about something,Sacajawea was squealing about something and Violet was laughing at her excitement. I smiled as I watched how Violet's eyes sparkle when she smiles, I have realised that I have fallen deeply in love with her but it almost seems as though this is a dream because I had once met someone who looked like her her name was Sarafina and she was my lover until my brother kahmunrah killed her in his anger because she did not love him and chose me over him,I smiled at how Violet reminded me a lot of her but no that was not the reason I love her. I love her because she was different from Sarafina she is full of energy,shy,talented and caring. Sarafina was always cheerful and never afraid to speak her mind and that is what drew me near to her. My thoughts were cut when the guardian of Brooklyn waved his hand in front of my face, "Earth to Ahkmenrah you with me buddy" he says "yes Larry what is it" I ask as I turn to him. I see him and Teddy smirk at me as they look at Violet and then back to me "it seems that you my boy have fallen in love with dearest Violet" "Teddy's right you seem to have it hard for her" Larry says as he looks at his cousin with a smile plastered on my face. "It seems you are both right, I love her very much more then anything" I say blushing slightly "so have you admitted your feelings for her" teddy asks as he gets off of his horse Texas ,"yes and she too admitted her love for me" I sigh as I walked from the both of them to her,once I am within a few feet from her Larry runs up to her and whispers something in her ear and teddy walks to Sacajawea who looks at him quizzically and I see teddy explain something to her. Sacajawea smiles as she turns to Violet who is blushing and turns to me and quickly buries her red face into Larry's chest. "Ahkmenrah come over here will you" Larry calls me over while a blushing Violet hits his chest slightly and continues to hide her face in her cousins chest. "We will leave you three now" teddy says as he and Sacajawea leave me with Larry and Violet. " first of congrats secondly I ship it and lastly *pushes Violet to me* have fun but play it safe" he yells the last part and walks away from us confused I look at Violet who is hiding her face in her hands, "what did he tell you " I say as I pull her hands away from her face. She looks at Keane blushes before pulling me to my exhibit and she tells the jackals to go explore the museum. They do so and squeeze through the door way to explore the museum leaving both of us alone, still confused I ask again " what did Larry whisper to you" "umm *blushes and whispers in my ear* that's what he told me" she says after whispering something in my ear. I blush as I look at her now I know why she asks the jackals to leave."w-well then that explains it" I say as I see the jackals returning and I see Larry come in and wink at us both and tells us that the sun is about to rise I smile at Violet and kiss the back of her hand "till then my love" I bow and return to my sarcophagus.

Larry p.o,v

"Till then my love" Ahkmenrah bows and and returns to sarcophagus, when the tablet finishes glowing signalling everyone was back to the way they were before they awoke, Violet hits me upside the head "ow what was that for" I say as I rub my head as she gathers her things and walks out the front doors of the museum. "That was for telling me think about getting it on with Ahkmenrah BAKA" she yells and walks into the apartment. I laugh and walk to mp the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. I hear her turn on the history channel and I can hear something about the life of Ahkmenrah.i could tell she was interested to know about his life I chuckle as I imagine how I'm going to embarrass her tonight.
