And here we are in math class. My worst subject. Even better. And we have an exam today. Isn't that the cherry on top? At least I sit at a table with Michael, Luke, Ashton and Calum. They're complete nerds which means I might be able to snag a few answers.

The test is in front of me and I can't even answer the first problem. I start looking around the room for posters or anything to give me clue. Nothing. I peek over at Calum's and get the first answer. Cool. Before I even finish showing "my" work Mr. Fievis sternly yells, "Hayley and Calum! Principal's office now." Before I can even argue he says, "I mean now!" On Calum and I's way to the office he begins to cry. It takes all of the energy in me not to burst into laughter. "Dude, why are you crying?" I asked. He replied, "Because this is my first time ever being sent to the office!" I laughed and said, "Dude seriously? I practically live here." We go in the door and sit in the chairs outside the door. Ms. Waters the school receptionist monotonically says, "What are you in here for now Ms.Harris?" I say, "Oh, you know just cheating on a test. No biggie." She points to Calum as in asking why he's crying and I mouthed "He's a first timer." The phone rings and me and Ms.Waters conversation comes to an end. and thats when the principal, Mr.Tanner, calls us into his office. We sit in another pair of chairs in front of his desk. I began to play with the baseball bobble head on his desk. He says, "Hayley. You've been here before so you know the punishment. Saturday detention from 8-3. Same for you Mr.Hood. Now get back to class!" On our way out of the office the bell rings and the period is over. Lunch time. Yay. Calum begins to cry harder. I say, "Dude grow a pair. It's just detention." He replies, "But it's my first detention! My parents are going to kill me!" I laugh and say, "Welp that sucks...See you Saturday!"
