Chapter 1 - The New Girl

(Hi guys, just passing here to say this is my first fanfiction, I hope you all like it!)

Repeater's/Gatling Pea's P.O.V (Point of View)

I got out of bed and sighed, I grabbed my helmet, weapons and went straight to the lawn, where I met with some of my friends.

"Good morning, bro!" Said Terry the Peashooter. (one of my friends)
I simply replied with a "Sup" and then I went to plant myself on one of the columns.

"Where are you going?" Said Jack the Repeater (another friend of mine)

I rolled my eyes and said: "Getting ready to fight the zombies, is that a good answer for ya?"
My friends don't like very much my "Straight-to-business" attitude

"But, we still have to wait one more minute." Said Morgan the Cactus.

Me: "I don't care, I hate wasting my time for nothing!"

Terry: Hey, Peater, (yeah, if anyone was wondering, Gatling Pea isn't my real name) I thought you were from the from the streets, as far as I know, plants from the street love having fun.

Me: We have to protect our owner, "Having fun" isn't part of the deal...

Jack: Dude, nothing personal, but I think that enlisting in the Army is harming your social mood. You're always missing fun stuff and important news!

Me: My god! You're not even paying attention! I just told ya a second ago that having fun isn't part of th-

Morgan: Ok, forget about the fun, what about the news?! You're always missing important stuff!

Me: I might not get the news when it first come out, but I do get them as soon as I can!

Jack: Really? So could you please explain why didn't you even bother yourself to know there's a new girl in the lawn?
He pointed to a Snow Pea.

Me: *Sarcastically* Ok, a Snow Pea, very cool...

However, I took a better look, I regretted what I said, she looked very cute and friendly. I kept looking at her for like five seconds until I realized she was look at me as well. After I realized it, I quickly turned my head to the other way and I could feel my face blushing for a moment. the match started and me, along with other plants started to fight the zombies, this time, we just fought simple zombies (basic ones, conehead zombies and buckethead zombies) which means we finished the match pretty quick and got more free time for the rest of the day. Most of the time, I like spend my time on the shooting range and sometimes even helping other plants at the Zen Garden, but, after what happened today, I went as quick as possible to my house as I wanted to avoid the new Snow Pea, I mean, what she might be thinking after I looked at her that way, like if I was going to stalk her until she accept to date me or something?
I ran so fast that I wasn't even paying attention to where I was going and accidentally bumped into another plant.

Me: Ouch! I-I'm sorry, are you alright?
At the very moment I said that, I realized that the plant I bumped on, was her...that sweet and adorable Snow Pea...
