Chapter 3 - More than friends

Peater's POV

I woke up in a bed on the hospital, I was feeling a headache, one of the doctors came to check on me:

Doctor Sunflower: Hey, look who's finally awake.

Me: Wha-what happened?

Doctor Sunflower: The battle from yesterday, you fighted way more than you body could, so you ended up fainted.

Me: I can't remember much of what happened, but thanks for letting me know.

Doctor Sunflower: You're welcome!

Me: Can I go now?

Doctor Sunflower: Sure, you can go! Actually, there's even someone waiting for you outside.

Me: Oh, alright. Thank you very much Ms Sunflower!

Doctor Sunflower: Sure thing, come back anytime...and take good care of your health!

Snowy's POV

I was sitting in the waiting room when I heard the door opening:

Peater: Hello, is someone waiting for...me?...

Me: *gasp* Peater?!

Peater: Snowy! It's good to see y-

But before he could finish, I ran and hugged him.

Me: *sobbing* Thanks for saving me!

Peater's POV

I wiped the tears off her face with my leaf (my hand)

Me: Hey, it's alright, I'm here for you.

Snowy: Hey Peater, I was wondering if you...wanted to...take a walk with me?

Me: Oh, I...sure!

The both of us decided to take a walk together in the city.

Snowy: Beautiful day, isn't it?

Me: Indeed.

Snowy: It's really nice to walk on the streets, it makes me feel less stressed about yesterday's survival...even because it was my first day...

Me: I'm sorry to hear about that. The good thing is, that I know a place, follow me.

We kept walking up until we arrived.

Snowy: A Cherry Blossom tree! I've never seen one before, I mean, not this closer. It's so beautiful! 💙

Me: I'm glad you like it, sometimes I come in here to rest, have a moment of peace and to have a pleasant view of the city, most of the times it makes all of my stress and problems to go away.

While we were talking, flowers began to fall from the blossom tree.

We sit below the tree and rest for a while.

Me: *blushes*

Snowy: You're blushing, is something wrong?

Me: What? No, it is just that...I want to tell you the truth.

Snowy: Huh?

Me: Remember yesterday when we first met eachother and I said I wasn't in love with you? The truth is...I love you, this whole time I was in love with you, and I did the best I could to protect you, last night I had to break a rule to save you...

After Snowy knew about the whole truth, she was surprised and began to blush. I took my helmet off, therefore revealing the rest of my face, and then, I grabbed a flower that fell from the cherry blossom tree.

Me: Snowy, d-do...you...l-love....m-m-me? 💚

Snowy: Peater, I...

Before Snowy could finish speaking, she kissed me, at this moment, I blushed harder than I ever blushed in my whole life. That kiss the tastiest thing I had, it felt like vanilla ice cream, but a thousand times better.

Snowy: I do have the same feelings for you. 💙 You were so brave last night, if it wasn't by you, I don't know if I would have even survived all this

Me: It's ok, you're safe with me...

...you will always be safe with me...
