Moving On

Keys

A car just came from nowhere and backed up from the driveway. And I almost fell on the weird shaped vehicle.
"What the Hell?" I exclaimed in anger.
A cute boy with brown hair hopped out of the car and apologized with a smooth attitude. I took a look at him and walked away. After a few steps I grabbed my skateboard and skated away. I checked my phone wondering what time it was. It was 7:12. I rushed to get to school. I was going so fast I stumbled on some rocks and fell off my skateboard. The same boy from earlier was lending his hand and asked,
"Are u ok?"
"I'm fine." I replied
He pulled me up looked around for scratches, he found one. He kneeled down and got a bandage out of his backpack and put it on my knee. He stood back up.
"Thx, u know u didn't have to do that right?" I said in a soft voice.
"I know, but I did kinda crash into u, remember?" He said
"I'm Lorelei." I stated.
"I'm Matthew Espinosa, but I prefer being called Matt." He practically shouted.
He asked if I wanted a ride and I hopped in. Surprisingly we made it just in time because the bell just rang right after we walked into the school. We said our goodbyes.

My first class was science, I looked around and found room 231. I took a seat by the window in the last row. Suddenly Matt walked in and took a seat right by me.
"Hi." I said turning around.
"Hey, Skater girl." He smiled.
"I do have a name u know." I stated
"I know, I like skater girl better cuz it suits u." He said
I smiled and turned around I checked my phone because I got a message from my mom. She texted "Hey honey I'm gonna be out of town for a business trip and I'll be gone for a week. Don't forget your keys!" I checked my pockets and then I ran out of the room, I ran to my locker looking for my backpack. I searched and searched for the keys. I gave up! I closed my locker and headed to science.
I took my seat and Matt asked what happened, I told him everything. He asked about Cam and I told him that cam was skipping school because my grandma died and he is out of town too. Matt said I could come sleep at his house. I said "sure"
The teacher came in and told everyone to greet me. I sat back down and class started.
