Last class of the day, friday, last day of school before an unwanted break.

A new quarantine meant that we couldn't see each other as much anymore.
I had to tell you. I had to say goodbye for a while.
After class i took you to the bathroom. You were scared, i saw it in your eyes.
I told you about how i still wanted to see you everyday. Everyday. Every moment.
I was scared too. I was scared of losing my favorite person.
And then i hugged you,
Tears were rolling down my cheeks like rivers.
You comforted me. I felt safe. You made me want to rule the world. I had no fear.
In that exact moment, there was only us. No school, no covid, no other people, just us.
