  — So, well, where is it, where?– Cody muttered to herself as she rummaged in the nightstands trying to find something.

  The apartment was a complete mess: various things were lying on the floor and on the bed - they were all sorts of boxes, wires, some small mechanisms, even a few spinners, but mostly they were metal tools and math books. On the floor lay a half-disassembled teleport and instructions for it, which Cody clearly did not understand.– Ohh God dammit!– Cody was angry, pulling out a math book from another nightstand.– How long will I find these unnecessary books here? And what I need cannot be found here... Damn!

Cody got up from her seated position and put her paws on her belt in annoyance. She began to watch the room again, hoping to find another untested bedside table or at least a small cupboard. "Should I call him? .."– Cody thought. "Nahh, I’ll do it myself. You just need to find one detail and everything will be ready. Hmmm .. Oh!" - she noticed some kind of handle under the bed and pulled it. "Well, of course .. And of course you couldn't find another place, right Baldi? .." - Cody said in a pulling tone in her mind, taking out an old box from under the bed.

Opening the box, inside it one could find a lot of different small and strange details: these were springs, wires, nails and screws, gears of different sizes, pieces of iron, rusted fasteners, some pieces of paper and many other things. "So so, let's see what we have here ... we have wires, well, very good" - Cody pulled out three wires of gray color but with different shades, she did not know which one would be suitable for the mechanism in the teleport, so she began to connect them via turn, depending on whether the large button on the panel lights up .. Cody connected each wire very carefully, it was not easy, because Cody had very long black claws that were even longer than her fingers in length.

She connected the first wire first to one part and then to the other, but nothing happened. "Soooo, this wire does not fit, but well, and the one that is darker?" - removing the first one, she connected the second wire, suddenly a spark appeared for a moment and immediately disappeared. After waiting a minute, Cody pulled out a second wire and grabbed a third. "Well, you're the last one, don't let me down .." - with the last hope she connected it to the device. "The color is the same as Baldi's sweater .. the coincidence" - somewhere in the memory flashed a memory of the beautiful green color which, like other colors, was now sorely lacking. Now it is the same gray as everything here, only the shade is somewhere darker and somewhere lighter ..

Suddenly a spark appeared and ran along the wire inside the device, "Come on, come on, come on .." - Cody didn't take her eyes off for a second, it was very important for her that this wire would come up. The device inside the teleporter creaked a little and a large button lit up, and this is what Cody was waiting for. – Finally! What a fine fellow I am! - she gathered two parts of the teleport into one and twisted them with screws. - Offh, damn it, so much trouble with this thing that I'm already hungry.

Cody cleaned up quite a bit and went into the kitchen. Walking along the hallway, she looked a little at the photos that were hanging on the wall, before that she had never paid attention to them, since she had hardly been at Baldi's house, and even what happened did not give Cody peace of mind; she had been at Baldi's apartment for two weeks already, but she began to notice many things as if for the first time.

The photos hung exactly on the wall, they were in different frames and were of different sizes. - Interesting ... - Cody looked at the first few photos where Baldi was a little kid. - Heh, he was still with hair then, and I thought Baldi was born bald. So he has ginger hair in childhood? - Cody didn't see the colors, but she knew it from the light shade. - Oh, and who is this? It's Princi really next to him? - she looked at a small photo where a small schoolboy Baldi stands next to Princi in an embrace, Princi was 2 times taller. - Hmm, they studied in different classes, this should explain why Baldi is so small on this photo.
