Quiet morning. Drops after the rain stuck on the walls, and, forming into one large drop, fell down, creating a quiet sound of impact on the iron roofs of the windowsills.

Baldi woke up from a slight incomprehensible puffing over his ear.

- What .., - he began abruptly, but immediately fell silent so as not to wake up Cody, who was lying completely hugging Baldi. He tried to move and free at least one hand from her grip, but sleepy Cody only pulled him closer to her.

"Mhh, damn it, what the hell is she doing ?! The fact that I allowed her to sleep in my bed does not mean that she can allow herself to climb on my half" - grumbled in his mind Baldi. "Absolutely impudent, damn it, grabbed me with her stranglehold ... Let me go!"

Cody was still fast asleep and muttered something in her sleep. No matter how Baldi tried to free himself, she would not let him go. Sighing tonally, the mathematician decided to come to terms and tried to relax. Cody gently buried her face in his neck, breathing in and out.
- Warmth, - Baldi mumbled softly, closing his eyes. He turned slightly to Cody and now their faces were almost on the same level.

"Mmh, and after all .. it's not so .. not so bad ... so soft." After lying in this position for a bit, Baldi really liked to feel this pleasant feeling of tenderness and warmth. With pleasure, he seemed to start falling asleep again, dreaming as long as possible to lie in such a beautiful embrace on such a cold morning. “Maybe because of the hugs I slept so well that night?” Thought Baldi.

Suffering from insomnia, he had already forgotten this feeling of healthy full sleep .. But that night he really slept well, and it surprised him a little.

Raising his head, teacher tried to see the time on the alarm clock.

"08:23 ... Cody seemed to want to leave early, we still need to find a place where we will live ... but damn, I really don't want to get up .. I'm fine here too .. it's so cozy here ... mmh" - Baldi clung to Cody's fluffy fur, he had to get up, he tried to push these thoughts aside, but realized that if they did not go earlier, then it would be much more difficult ...

- Cody .. Cody, get up, - Baldi began very calmly. Cody stirred slightly and released Baldi. Very sleepily she threw herself onto the other side, and without keeping her balance fell from the bed.

- Good morning,– he said lazily.
- Mmh, good, what .. is it already morning?– Cody looked at the alarm clock.
- Yes, already 08:25, after all, you asked to wake you up to leave earlier .., - reminded Baldi, holding his hand, which ached a little after Cody's grip. -Ah ... well, yes. It's good that you woke me up, but next time do not throw me out of bed, but just calmly start waking me up, - Cody reached up, almost touching the ceiling with her claws. - Mh, cold morning, however ... what's with your hand, why are you holding it?
- Oh, yes, I just .. just a numb hand in a dream .., - Baldi decided not to talk about hugs, they say he is no longer a child and can live without these tenderness ..
- I see .. Did you sleep well?
- Surprisingly, yes,- he replied.
- Very good ..Okay, let's go wash.

After a while they were already sitting and having breakfast. Baldi quickly cooked delicious scrambled eggs, which they washed down with juice; putting together a few more things, they put their backpacks on their shoulders and went out into the street. Out of habit, Baldi closed his apartment with the keys and put them in his pocket. Going out into the street, both sighed.

- Oh, I can't believe it, - said Baldi.
- Yes, well, but we'll visit new places, - Cody took the teleporter out of her backpack and looked at Baldi. - Well, are you ready?
-I think so,- he smiled slightly.
- Okay, take my paw and don't let go.
- Okay,- he obediently took Cody by the paw and looked at the balcony of his apartment for the last time.
- Let's go about three,- she said, already ready to press the button. - One ... two ... t- ..
- STOP! - Baldi screamed, from which Cody shuddered.
- A?! What?!
- Wait ... I seem to have forgotten my ruler, - Baldi looked at her apologetically.
- What the fuck are you kidding me ?!- Cody screamed.- Ruler?...are you seriously now?!
- I need it!- He left his backpack downstairs and ran to the apartment.
