Chapter 4- It's a Deal

<short time skip>
The class with McGonagall had ended and we were all now making our way to the common room. It was a Saturday and we had no more classes. Luna was with me because I met her after the class and at the weekends different houses were allowed in each other's dorms.
"so who do you want to go to the ball with?" I whispered to Luna as us two walked behind the three boys.
"well..i was hoping Neville. he is very sweet. but i don't really mind too much" she said in her sweet voice.
"i knew it!" I whisper shouted.
"shush they will hear you."
"caput draconus" Seamus says in his thick irish accent as we enter our common room.
"wow it's my first time coming in here this year" Luna says, looking around in awe as if she hasn't been here before.
"welcome back" I say grinning as we all sit on the sofas.
On one sofa is Luna and Neville, and on the other is me with Seamus on my right and Dean on my left.
"home sweet home" Dean says.
"i missed it so much. i love it at the Burrow of course but mum says i have too many friends to invite over all of you so only Luna could come. maybe you guys could visit this Christmas though." I say excitedly.
"woah calm down we jus got here we don't need to plan for Christmas already" Seamus says as I giggle.
"hey guys i might go find Ginny. i want to ask her to the ball and i don't want to wait in case someone else asks her." Dean says.
"oh of course go ahead. good luck" I say.
"good luck mate" Seamus and Neville say.
"good luck D" Luna says.
Dean guys up and walks out of the common room.
The fire is crackling in front of us and a few people are passing through to the dorms but other than that it seems everyone else in Gryffindor is out somewhere.
"hey Neville don't you want to take Luna somewhere. you know..maybe take her to the gardens and ask her something" I say with a wink.
"e-erm..maybe you want to ask Seamus something.." Neville replies as I send him a death stare.
"what is it Neville is everything okay?" Luna asks.
Neville looks at me and I give him a look as if to say 'go for it' so he stands up and asks her to go to the gardens with him so they walk out, Luna skipping beside him.
"what was that about" Seamus asks.
"he's gonna ask her to the ball" I reply.
"no i mean when he mentioned me?"
I realise I kinda gave it away by saying that.
"oh nothing nothing" I reply, a slight blush coming onto my cheeks.
"well if you wanted Ava we-"
Suddenly Lavender Brown bursts into to common room, with Parvati and Padma following.
"Shay shay!!" she shouts at him.
"erm..what?" he asks confused.
"i need to you to tell me what colour we are wearing to the ball." she replies as she almost pushes me away from him to sit down next to him, hugging his arm.
"erm..i didn't know we were going together" he says looking at me.
"well of course we are. we're dating" she says.
"since when were you dating her?" I ask standing up.
"start of summer. isn't that right shay shay? he even told me he loved me" she says giving you a death stare.
"wow your supposed to be my best friend but you don't tell me that you've been dating someone for over a month." I shout as I run up to my dorm. He tries to follow me and shouts my name but the stairs turn into a slide as he walks up because their cursed.

<Seamus' Point of View>
"Lavender why would you say that?" I shout at her.
"because i love you shay shay" she says coming closer to me.
"well i'm sorry but i don't love you and now Ava won't talk to me" i shout.
"fine then let's make a deal" she says to me.
"what's your deal" i ask.
"we go to the ball together"
"and why exactly would i do that" i ask confused.
"well. i get to go to the ball with you, and you get to make Ava jealous." she says grinning.
I was about to shout no to her but then it hit me that this might actually be a good idea.
"you think she would be jealous" i ask.
"well of course she would look at me!" Lavender says.
"fine i'll do it." i agree.
