Rewind: The Experiment (BNHA)

Part 12

(Third POV)

"What do you know about their quirks?" Tsukauchi interrogates the white haired man Hari Kurono. Aizawa watching from the one sided window, ready to learn about the kids' quirks. "Eri, Overhaul calls her quirk rewind.  She can rewind and reverse specifically living things into it's past state. Her target can be physically younger, she can heal injuries, and undo body modifications.. This also applies to the state of people where quirks don't exist."

"Is there something more?" Tsukauchi asks as he wrote the true information on his notepad. "Well, She can rewind people to the point they haven't existed yet.. her father probably is the dead fetus found on the floor when she stayed at the hospital for a while. She is used in quirk destroying bullets" Aizawa would be lying if he says he wasn't scared.. It seems Nezu's plan on training them with recovery girl isn't a good idea. Students can end up like her father. 

"How about Izuku?" The detective moved on. "Well, Izuku.. Overhaul doesn't really have a specific name for it. He just calls it 'quirk' for all the six years."

"six years? he stayed there five years." Tsukauchi said. "Overhaul has been planning his kidnap a year before we took him." Tsukauchi assumed that getting a partnership with the league is hard. "continue."

"He can rewind and fast forward the state of living and non living. Kai, experiments on him twice as Eri's. He is used in quirk destroying and the nullifying bullets. The nullifying bullets nullifies the effects of the quirk destroying ones. He is also used in quirk enhancing bullets. His target can turn younger or older physically, fix broken things and heal injuries. From the quirk accident I saw, he turned some of our men into nothing but ashes from the bones.. the other was also a fetus that soon died."

Tsukauchi once again wrote the facts in his note pad. 

"Detective.. those kids.. I can't do anything more for them so please, make sure they're happy and will live great lives... I cared for those kids. Izuku, he held more psychological trauma than Eri. I kept him sane somehow by reminding him of that ash blonde kid with explosions.. he calls him 'Kacchan'.. They were under my name not Overhaul's. Problems may occur with the adoption papers with the wrong information." And with that, Hari was willing to leave back to his cell.

Aizawa was surprised on how the man truly did care for the kids. He assumed it was an act but everything was confirmed in front of this lie detector human. He sighed remembering how the two kids would ask and look for Chronostasis. 

Since it was easier than they thought it would be, they get to leave early. Aizawa went ahead to UA while Tsukauchi starts with other matters in his hands. 

(Aizawa POV)

Kurono answered all questions honestly and fast too. We were expecting to be in there more hours as interrogations usually tend to go to the point of forcing the interrogated to spill out answers. It's either they will take time, bluff with words, or won't talk at all. I am secretly thankful for Kurono cooperating with us. I can take care of the kids and know them more.. and.. I can have another hour of sleep than I planned.

The car neared UA and I was wondering how Izuku and Eri are doing with Nezu. I was worried.. what if that Chimera would talk about how to legally torture humans. Never mind that, I'm sure he'll probably teach them chess.

As I have guessed. When I entered the office, I see Nezu playing with Izuku and Eri. Two kids versus the principal. I find it cute how Izu and Eri are so serious. Their looking at the board real hard with a thinking face, whispering what I assume plans to each other from time to time. It's been two minutes and those two haven't even notice me. Maybe mind exercise games would help them. 

They finally moved a piece and Eri seemed contented. She smiled happy to be the one to move the knight in the right square. Lucky for them, it's a very long game since no clock was used. (chess clock) 

"Hello Izuku, Eri." Eri was surprised but smiled at me and Izuku looked surprised and just looked at me. The way the kid looks at me, it seems he wants to say many things but, he couldn't bring himself to. "h-hello.." He greeted timidly. "Children, how about you sit first. The spare laptop is opened. You remember how to open herotube like I taught right?" Both kids nodded and went to the sofa available in the office opening the laptop. "Nezu, they'll be addicted.." I stated looking at the principal with an 'unbelievable!' look. 

"Especially Eri.." I added in a mutter. The principal chuckled. "Don't worry. Let them have fun." I looked at the kids whose entertainment was heard until here. I can hear some lines of familiar heroes from the laptop. I see Izuku have a small sign of interest in his eyes. Maybe he wants to be a hero?

"Aizawa, what did you know about their quirks?" Nezu finally asks. "Tsukauchi interrogated Haru Kurono. He was the care taker of the two. Both have almost similar quirks."

"Eri can rewind living things into their past state an example of this is she can turn someone into a kid, or remove their quirk.. or probably good to heal injuries... Izuku.. not only he can rewind. but also fast forward. Both living and non-living. I feel like you already know how you would train them.." 

"Indeed I do Aizawa! Thankyou for reporting matters to me. I'll tell you more later on. But what I want to tell you, In a few months or possibly, month, If Izuku has control over his quirk.. I want him to join your class." Nezu stated. I don't mind having Izuku in my class.

"I observed the kid. He wants to be a hero.." He said not loud for Izuku to hear. I knew it, Nezu grew attached to the kids.
