For the last few week you and Reid continued to hook up you could tell he wanted more, you did to but you were to scared to tell him. You just decided It would be better if you didn't but the little things he did like when he would just look at you in bed and smile of when you'd catch him looking at you at work. But you were to scared for real feelings so you never stayed the night even when he asked you to. You didn't want to complicate a good thing but you could tell he was ready for more than just quickies in the bathroom but at the same time he didn't want to stop whatever you were doing now.
You went to your closet and pulled out a short back skirt a white shirt and black jacket. You put on some black heels and decided on only wearing mascara today.
When you got to work you sat at your desk as usual. You started looking over case files and looked up to see Emily holding up two coffee cups. She hands you one and smiled "I could kiss you" you laughed before taking a sip "I'll take you up on that" she gave you a playful smirk and went to her desk. After you finished the coffee you walked over to the trash can and as you walked back to your desk you saw Reid staring at you. More specifically checking you out "Hey eyes up here pretty boy" you smirked before sitting down. "What do you expect when you dress like that" he whispered, "what are you guys taking about" Morgan chimes in. "Oh nothing" you bite your lip and look back down at your files. After a little while you hear the elevator ding but don't look up to see who it is and after a few minutes the blonde women who just came in the door speaks "Wow so no hello" she laughed and everyone towards her. Reid got up from his desk ran up and hugged her so tight he picked her up off the floor. Who is that?! "Whoah Spence easy" she chuckled and he set her down "Heyyyyy momma" Morgan came up to her to and gave her a kiss on the cheek. You stayed at your desk not wanting to intrude on whatever reunion they were having after a minute Emily came running up to her and gave her a big hug "Jjjjjjj" she yelled. Oh Jennifer that makes sense "It's you your really here" Garcia came out from her "lair". "Yep it's me" The blonde gushed "I'm just here for a little visit" she added. They all went forwards Morgan's desk talking and laughing, after a minute you got up to use the restroom and as you were coming back to your desk Garcia rushed over to you. She pulled you over to the desk "This is agent Y/l/n" Garcia squeezed your shoulder. "Hi I'm Jennifer" she stuck out her hand and you shook it "Hi" you gave her a half smile. Morgan came over to you, he could tell you were slightly uncomfortable so he put his arm around you and you gave him a smile. "Are you to-" Jj asked "No no" you laughed "Hey don't say it likes that's a bad thing Y/n" Morgan looked down at you playfully. "Of course not Morgan" you gave a serious face before laughing. You could feel Reid's eyes on you but you avoided eye contact at all cost is he in love with her I mean the way he talked about her I would think so. You weren't sure why that made you upset you had no right to be annoyed it's not like you and him were together.
"You'll never be able to replace her" Spencer's words rang in your ears yes he did say that a while ago but he clearly meant it. With that you ignored him the rest of the day, Jj was nice you tried to find one thing to not like about her but you couldn't. Near the end of the day your phone dinged
Reid: Hey wanna get outta here and go to my place ;)?
You: No you should go out with Jj and your team she's only here for a few days.
Reid: You sure cause I wouldn't mind tearing that skirt off
You: yah go out with Jj I'm tired.
You sighed before putting your phone down, you could feel Reid's eyes on you.
This is over this is so over y/n You could tell from the pictures on his desk or in his house that him an Jj were best friends if not more. Besides I mean look at her you could never compete with her you fought back tears. God y/n stop it no feeling no feelings no feelings.You weren't apart of this team not like she was she was family they were a family and you were the replacement who could never measure up.
