I woke up lying in the same place I had blacked out it. It was dark and cold as I stretched my aching muscles to look at my phone that was laying on the ground next to me.

11:43pm and I had no where to go, I was alone and I questioned why they hadn't just killed me. I laid back and passed out once again.

I woke up at 10:22am the next morning, it was Saturday and I didn't have to deal with school so I decided to go home. I didn't want to face my foster mother but I had no choice at this point.
On the dreaded walk home, I just kept thinking about my life. My life sucked. Why did both my parents have to be killed in that fire and why wasn't I. In 5 years I've been with 7 different foster families. None of them understood or cared about what I was going through. I quietly snuck into my home and up my stairs past my hungover mother passed out on the couch. I trip on the way up and woke her.

"Jade, whyyy theeee fuuuck wereee youu not home yesterdayyy!?!"

I ran up the stairs as I started to cry. I had tears pouring down my face and I didn't know what to do. I could either run away and have no where to live or I could stay deal with my problems.

I had no choice but to face the people who were causing me this pain.
