Chapter 28

Jungkook decided to leave the boy. He didn't want too but he thought that was the best thing at the time. Taehyung needed time alone so he didn't chase him.

But he made sure to talk to him once they get back to thei dorm.

The day went by painfully slow for Jungkook. He didn't know if Taehyung attended his other classes or not. His mind was already fogged up with so many things. He couldn't even focus on the classes.

After what it felt like eternity his classes finally ended. He practically dragged himself all the way to the dorm.

He was hesitant. Taehyung might not wanted to see him. He thought. Maybe it was all his fault. But he was still unsure. What Taehyung did before was unexpected. He would never do something like that. He needed to sort things out with that boy.

He opened the door slowly as it creaked open. "Taehyung?" Jungkook called out. His eyes scanned the place and Taehyung wasn't there.

"Taehyung?" He called out again getting inside, hoping the boy to answer him back. But their was no one. Jungkook finally sighed.

Maybe he isn't here.

He rested his bag on the bed. Where on earth did he go?

He sat down. For a moment he let himself relax. But it was hard to relax. He wanted to see Taehyung. Ask him about the things that happened. Wether it was mistake, a whim..or was he aware of the things.

Suddenly he heard the door open. He turned his head at the sound and saw Taehyung standing there. Taehyung widened his eyes in surprise.

He was ready to turn away and leave but Jungkook was fast. He quickly got up and stopped him by grabbing his arm.

"Taehyung-"
"Leave me Jungkook!" Taehyung said frustratingly.

"No I can't" he replied. Taehyung struggled in his strong grip and eventually sighed giving in.

Jungkook read Taehyung's facial expressions. He couldn't quite figure out what the other was thinking. But he was exasperated.

"Why-" He looked at him hoping for an answer. Taehyung was looking down at the ground. He forced the other to look at him. "Why did you do that?"

Taehyung looked at his glistening orbs. "I'm...sorry" was all he said.

Jungkook harshly let go of his arms.

"No you aren't fucking sorry!" He yelled making the other flinch at his harsh tone. He looked timid at the moment. "I need an explanation so tell me why did you do such an action earlier?"

Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out so he closed it up.

Jungkook again grabbed him. "Tell me why were you crying?"

Taehyung sighed. "It was my-my parents" he admitted. Jungkook looked at him hoping to speak further and so the boy did.

"I met my dad this morning. He had visited me. He said how I wasn't focusing on my studies and I needed to take this seriously." He said. "He hit me!" He said quietly.

Jungkook's eyes softened. He felt guilt for shouting at the other. Jungkook saw a little cut on Taehyung's lips.

Jungkook without saying anything hugged Taehyung taking him by surprise. "I'm sorry" he said. "I didn't know about that"

Taehyung without even realising hugged him back. He buried his face into the others neck and hugged him tightly. Something about being in Jungkook's embrace felt right.

Taehyung pulled apart.

"So...why did you uh...do such thing back there?" Jungkook asked not looking at the other. Honestly he kind of felt embarrassed about it.

Shit I shouldn't have brought that up! He thought.

Taehyung looked equally embarrassed. After his father hit him Taehyung was furious. He wanted to take out that anger and pain and so in the heat of moment he did whatever came to his mind.

"I-I don't know..." He trailed off. "I guess I was just being ridiculous" he laughed out nervously fiddling with his thumb.

"Right!" Jungkook chuckled.

They eventually laughed it off....
