"Baby, hi! I'm sorry I was late last night, I was busy buying gift for you for our monthsarry that I didn't notice the time also my car died down along the way. It took me 2hrs to find someone who'll check my car for me and they fixed it for 1hr. I was about to call only to find out that I left my phone in the office. You fainted the moment I arrived at the venue, how are you feeling love?"

Jennie said softly then hugged me tight; she push me gently away from her so she could check me clearly.

"Wha– y–you're not mad at me anymore?" I asked, I'm confuse af but I don't care.

I told you she arrived!! She was there!!!

She smiled, "I'm no longer mad, lisa. I realized I can't hate you for the rest of my life and my dad talked to me about it. They're right, we're married. I guess, I can learn how to love you in the process" she looked at me in the eye.

"I don't know what to say, jen. I'm so happy–"

A tear escape from my eyes. I'm looking at her, smiling widely.

"Forget about what happened last night, we can do it everyday anyways"

I couldn't contain my happiness anymore. I'm crying, this time, happy tears. I hugged her as tight as I could. I thank all the gods up there for giving me a chance on ruby, I promise I won't waste it.

"Lisa!! Lisa!!!"

I receive a strong slap. I opened my eyes and sit abruplty on the bed while holding my cheeks. the fuck? that hurts.

"Why did you slap me?!" I shouted. My eyes grew wide when I saw who slapped me..

Rosè?! Why the fuck are we together?!

I looked around only to find out that I'm not in my room, shit. Where am I?! What am I doing here?!

"I-I'm s-sorry!! Okay? I'm sorry! You were crying in your sleep and you keep on murmuring "jen". I got worried and I don't know how to wake you up so I just slap you instead, I'm sorry!" She explained.

I looked at her, "Why are we together?! What am I doing here?! Where are we?!" I shouted not minding her apology.

"Whooaa, can you please calm down a little bit?" She said raising both of her hands midway as if telling me to sush. "For your information, Ms-"

"Mrs." I corrected her.

"–whatever" she rolled her eyes. "We are at my room here in my restaurant and in case you forgot, you're date, which is I suppose  the "jen" you keep on calling on your dreams, didn't come last night and you were drunk. Lucky you I was there to catch you the moment you fell–"

So that was her, I really thought it's ruby.

"–and I don't know where to take you so I decided to let you sleep here" she said calmy.

Oh, so I was just dreaming earlier? How I wish she never waked me up. In my dreams ruby will try to love me; In reality, she hates me.

A sudden flashbacks of what happened last night enter my mind, I felt a pang on my chest once again; she didn't really came.

I laughed bitterly, I looked down trying to hide the pain.

That's the very first time I did something like that. That's the first time I felt excited about surprising someone.

I, once again, lost on you jen.

How can I win your heart, ruby?

"I'm sorry" I heard Roseanne said, I looked up to her and immediately wipe the tear that's been tempting to fall.
