The boy stood by his window looking into the sky. He wished he could leave. He saw the signs, he saw the clouds, and he saw the dark. He wished it would end. He saw the storm, he saw the eye, and he saw the lightning. He wished it would end. No one believed him. No one saw him. As he stood by his window looking, he didn't notice his door opening. As he stood by his window, he didn't notice the shadow that walked through the door. The shadow walked closer and closer to him. The boy walked closer to the window and sat on the edge. The shadow was very close now and the shadow pushed the boy off of the edge. The shadow's last words were, "This is what you wanted, right? Be careful of what you wish and do not wish."
