Yura's pov

I waited for him to give his statement with my face all covered. He sat beside me and I can feel that he keeps on taking a glance at me but of course I tried to avoid it. He tapped my shoulder and jolted me down. "Naze kankoku-go no kawarini nihongo o tsukau nodesu ka? (Why do you use Japanese instead of Korean?), he asked me. "Anata wa mishiranu hitodakara (Because you are a stranger)", I replied without looking at him. I heard him chuckled. He must look so cute right now! Urgh! I just can't face him because I feel so embarrassed. I was busy avoiding him until I didn't even realize that the police were gone. Maybe he went to check the CCTV. "So, you can speak Korean?", he asked me. "Of course! I'm Korean.", there was a bit of shouting in my voice but I didn't really mean it. "By the way, thank you for helping me. I know you are not sasaeng.", he says. LoL of course I'm not! Hello?! Do you think I have the time to interfere with people's privacy? They are also human. They need to breathe too. "Why are you so sure about it? I might be one", I asked again to make him feel doubt but unfortunately he didn't eat my bait. "If you are one of the sasaeng, still I have to thank you but I feel so sure because I feel that I have met you before. I know you are not one of them. I had recognized them since they have been stalking me for quite a long time.", that means he knows about the sasaeng thingy? Why does he look so relaxed? He just has to sue them all! "Why don't you sue them all?", I take this opportunity to ask as I am already here talking to him face to face even though I don't dare to face him. "We did but it's not helping anymore. It's about mental issues.", so he just gave me an unreleased statement? Being an idol is definitely hard. Once you become an idol, it's hard to have privacy. Your life feels like it is controlled by the fans and it's not yours anymore. I feel so sorry for them since I can't help them to get rid of the sasaeng. I once caught a sasaeng but the group has gotten bigger now so it's hard to handle and as Taeyong said, it's something that revolves with their mental health. I just kept my mouth shut when I saw the police walk towards my table. He just returned from the CCTV's room. "Okay, thank you sir. We also have the copy of the CCTV clip and gladly there was nothing suspicious.", the policeman said to Taeyong. They shake their hand as a sign of thanks. "Okay, you can go now.", I immediately take my bag and bow to the policeman and him before making my way to the exit door. I walked faster than I usually did. Wait, does that mean he is the one that I helped? I just saved someone I love. Wah! I'm a hero🤧 I am proud of myself. "Hey, wait!", my leg froze when I heard him telling me to wait. Still I did not turn my body facing him because I just felt so embarrassed at the time. "I think this is yours.", he said again. I take a look at my hand. I just realize that something is missing. SHIN YURA! You're a total idiot! How could you forget about the merchandise?! I turned around and looked down to his feet but I still can see him handing the bag. I took the bag and I bowed to him. When I was about to leave, I heard him saying something to me. "I hope you can keep this to yourself and not tell anyone about what-" I cut him out. "Don't worry about it. I hope we will never meet again in the future.", I gave my last bow before leaving the building.

Back then~

Taeyong's pov

Thanks to the Japanese, I am able to leave this toilet or else I will stay here forever. My manager barged into the toilet area as I was washing my hands at the sink. "Lee Taeyong, are you okay?", my manager came to me with a worried look on his face. I asked him why and he said that there was a girl that came out from the men's toilet and he thought it was sasaeng fans. I was shocked and asked him where she was and my manager showed me the way. I ran to the security room and I saw her already being investigated by the police. "I want to give my statement.", I stand beside her. She immediately put her hoodie on when she saw me. Maybe she knows who I am. I gave all my cooperation to the police in order to prove her innocent. One thing that I'm curious about is why she is talking in Japanese while she is Korean herself. Why didn't she just use her native language? What is she hiding? I took a glance at her a few times but she avoids looking at me. The police walked away to see the clip from the CCTV, leaving us alone. This is the only time I have to answer my curiosity. I tapped on her shoulder and she jolted down because of it. "Naze kankoku-go no kawarini nihongo o tsukau nodesu ka? (Why do you use Japanese instead of Korean?)", I asked. "Anata wa mishiranu hitodakara (Because you are a stranger)", she replied, still not turning her body to me. So, is she afraid of strangers? And she uses Japanese as protection? That's a good idea even though it sounds weird at some point. Interesting. I chuckled before asking her another question. "So, you can speak Korean?", I asked but this time, I just want to have a conversation with her. She is kind enough to help me. She could just leave me alone but she has the audacity to help even if she is afraid of strangers. "Of course! I'm Korean.", she sounds mad but to be honest, she is really fluent in Japanese, even her pronunciation was on point. If I didn't meet her here, in my head she might really be a Japanese. "By the way, thank you for helping me. I know you are not sasaeng.", I said then I heard her chuckled. "Why are you so sure about it? I might be one", she said. I don't know why but I feel so sure that she not sasaeng and she look familiar. "If you are one of the sasaeng, still I have to thank you but I feel so sure because I think I have met you before. I know you are not one of them. I had recognized them since they have been stalking me quite long time.", yes what I just said to her is fact. When you are surrounded by sasaeng almost everyday, it's hard for you to not recognize them. I don't give them attention but I can't help myself. Their vibes are like Lord Voldemort. It's dark and scary. "Why don't you sue them all?", if only she knew that we had to do that multiple times but it's just gotten worse now. "We did but it's not helping anymore. It's about mental issues.", I said then she just kept quiet. Then, the police came back. "Okay, thank you sir. We also have the copy of the CCTV clip and gladly nothing suspicious.", the police say and we shake hand before giving his permission for the girl to leave. The girl took her bag and immediately walked away but she left a paper bag. I took the bag and ran to her. "Hey, wait!", she stopped when I told her to wait and still she did not turn to me. "I think this is yours.", I handed her the paper bag and she just turned around, took the bag and bow, still avoiding herself to look at me. "I hope you can keep this to yourself and not tell anyone about what-", I have so much to say but she cut me off just like that but what she said made me stumble in my position. Her last sentence hit me differently. Why she sounds like she hate me? Even though it's good if we didn't meet again, I don't know why I feel so hurt. Maybe she just hate the idea of helping me? Yeah, she just wants to help but she ended up being accused with something that she didn't do. I walked away from there to my practice room. As I arrived, they already planned to leave. "Hyung! Where were you? Let's go!", Haechan said while putting his arm on my shoulder. "Where?" I ask him, being a totally clueless dude over here. "You don't know? Your fans sent coffee trucks for SM staff including us for your birthday.", Johnny explained. I almost forgot that today is my birthday. I'm sure it's Four Seasons of Tyong who sent the coffee truck. I have to take a picture and send it to her. "Okay, let's go.", as we walk to the coffee truck in front of the building. There were some staff who had already waited in line but we got special treatment. We didn't have to queue up. I asked Doyoung to take a picture of me and the coffee truck. Other than coffee, they also prepare waffles, sandwiches and churros. It was a bad day for me but at least she makes me happy with this. I decided to send her message through bubble to thank her but instead of sending it private, I choose to send it to public mode. I hope she knows that I am always thankful to have supportive fans like her.
