Yes, Jeff is an asshole, but there are boundaries he will not cross. He will not do anything that could give his friends panic attacks or break downs, and he will not provoke anyones fears or phobias.
Ex- he has found out what all the creepypastas fears are, so he can avoid them and make sure they don't get uncomfortable.
