Tenya POV:Have you ever seen a creaked wind shield. There is always one creak that starts it all. It seems shallow and insignificant but it is trying to hold together. Eventually with enough pressure a chain reaction starts and eventually the whole glass pieces is shattered into a million pieces. A faint remind of what it once was. You can't fix it after that. You can only replace the wind shield. That's kind of how I feel if that makes sense. Like I have a creak in my and eventually it'll need to be replaced. My mind anyways. There is o my one Tenya Iida. But I feel as though I may need to be replaced soon. My soul will need to be reinstalled. My broken pieces swept up and my whole image polished and restored. Like a car. Although it's not that easy. Its never that easy for anyone. Besides... right now I'm just creaked. I've had too much time to myself. I was able to move to my desk today. My legs are still aching. I haven't eaten yet due to the pain but I will manage. Iida's always manage. Maybe I won't need to be fixed, replaced, restored.. maybe I just need to focus on my work. Maybe I'm not creaked just... a tad bit stressed. If I finish this project that'll be one less thing on my plate. That's exactly what I need. I need less, if that makes sense. "I'm talking to myself, great.." I muttered as I wriggled in my seat. I straightened up and focused back on my work. Aizawa said that recovery girl was going to stop at the dorms and fix me up but until then he said I shouldn't put stress on my legs. I have been working on this project without breaks or interruptions and though it is due on the 9th (today is the 2nd of July) I like to make sure my assignments are in early. In all my years I've only had one late assignment. And that was in grade one. Something I think helps with this is I due all my work on paper. After what felt like centuries there was a knock at my door.
"I can't grab the door, sorry, you can just come in!" I called as I put the finishing touches on my essay portion of the project. With that Aizawa and recovery girl both entered my room.
"Hello Aizawa-sensei, recovery girl, I'm just doing work." I said eyes remaining on my paper. At a lose for words I found the eraser end of my pencil kept hitting my desk in a frantic manor. I quickly stopped and looked up.
"My apologies."
"What are you apologizing for Iida? You've done nothing wrong."
"Oh... I just know how annoying the sound of a pencil tapping can be." I glanced back at my work for a second before turning in my chair to properly face my teacher. Recovery girl seemed thankful to finally have my attention and began.
"Ok let me see the burns." She said. I turned my legs to the side and peeled off the bandages revealing my quirk injuries. They had started to blister.
"Well.. they don't look bad. You definitely over used your quirk Iida. Your exhaust pipes went to temperatures that your body couldn't handle. You can't use your ability this recklessly!"
"Yes recovery girl, I apologize for making you come out for this. It was never my intention to cause trouble." I said quickly as I bowed slightly in my seat.
"Yes yes, just be careful, I don't want you to become a regular. I had enough when that green haired kid kept breaking his bones!" She sighed lightheartedly as she kissed his arm. Instantly the wounds on his legs began to darken and scab over until they were normal skin again, with no scar to prove they were previously there. The teachers bid farewell and left him with his work. 'I don't want the teachers to think I'm becoming reckless. That's not a good quality for a hero or class representative to have!' I thought to myself, pencil once again nervously on the desk. I took a few breathes before diving into my work. I finish all assignment from my every class by dinner. By now my stomach was begging for food. I slowly made my way out of my dorm and toward the kitchen. I made sure to take it slow as the muscles in my legs still felt slightly sore. Part of me hoped the others were busy elsewhere but that didn't happen. I walked into the kitchen to find Kaminari trying to run the toaster by himself. The rest of the 'Bakusquad' were laughing and joking waiting to see him short curcit. I however saw this differently. He was surely going to cause the device to explode.
