Behind the Mask

'Robot' pt. 1

Tenya POV:

'I forgot something. I was meant to do or say or... something, anything. Am I missing something? Something with Uraraka? We were gonna talk later right? Or was she asking me to wait?' I began to panic inside, somehow managing to keep a straight face. I heard the door opened wider and my classmates began to enter. I took a deep mental breath and closed my book placing it on the right corner of my desk. I watched some take seats and others group up. As Uraraka walked past me to her seat I subtly studied her face. 'She doesn't look upset, nor angry. I'm sure she meant we'd talk in class. Right?' I looked across the room to Midoriya and smiled.
"Would you like to go socialize with Deku with me Uraraka?" I ask politely standing up turning to her.
"Oh! Yeah sure Iida!" She said in her usual happy Uraraka tone of voice. 'See she's fine! I'm just being paranoid. If she was upset she'd say.' I instantly calmed down, though you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at me. We walked over to Midoriya's seat and he instantly smiled.
"Hey guys!" He exclaimed, "I was wondering when we'd all talk again."
"I apologize for my absence in our daily conversations. I've been checking up on Tensei a lot and conversing with my parents."
"Oh it's no problem Iida! Speaking of Tensei how is he doing?"
"Much better by the looks of it. Well he looks rather ill but his energy has gone way up again. I'd say he's looking toward a full recovery!"
"Oh that's great Iida-kun!" Uraraka said giving me a hug. Midoriya smiled but it faded slightly as Bakugou's conversation with his 'squad' grew louder.

B: "Oh shut it Dunceface you know I'm right!
D: "Hey you never know Bakugou! It's always the 'safe' ones that can cause the most damage!"
K: "He has a point Bakubro.. I mean Deku-"
B: "Oh don't start up about that damn nerd. I wouldn't be surprised if he broke his bones swatting a fly!"
D: "Well...."
B: "HEY! I wasn't finished!"
M: "Oh pssh! It's not that big or a deal, calm down boom boom boy~"
B: "Boom Boom Boy?!"
M: "Mhm!"
B: "Shut it Racoon Eyes!"
S: "Guuuys! Kaminari was actually saying something relatively smart! Let him finish."
B: "tch."
D: "Thanks Sero! Anyways... Uraraka and Iida may seem like super calm UwU babies but like this about it!.. Uraraka could crush someone far away and no one would know. Ans Iida could just run away! No one would see them~"
M: "Omg you have a point!"
B: "Oh please! Round face maybe- just maybe but glasses is just a sonic ripoff. He can't go nearly fast enough to get away with AnYThinG~ plus, four eyes is too much of a teachers pet. Save your last brain cells for like math or something using dumb ass."
D: "Owie! That hurt my feewings KaCchAn~"
B: "IDIOT! I'LL KILL YOU!"

At this point I stopped listening. It's not like Kaminari actually thought me, Uraraka and Midoriya would do something. He was just trying to make a point to Bakugou. And Bakugou... he's Bakugou! He means no ill will I'm sure.
"Classmates! The time is 8:20! Class shall begin shortly please find your seats!" I said doing my air chops out of habit after noticing the time. But only one of two people were still standing excluding me.
"Your the only one still standing dude!" Someone said in the back. I didn't hear who exactly it was but I immediately went and sat in my seat. People were.. laughing... it made my heart send out a strange twinge of... pain? "Dang it!..." I whispered under my breath. 'You idiot! You should have dealt with yourself at the same time. What kind of hero doesn't pay attention to the details?! Doesn't multi-task?!' Classes began, but a piece of me remained stuck in my head the entire time. Until-

~Bee-EEP~ "Would Tenya Iida please come to the principals office. Tenya Iida to the principals office."

The intercom went off summoning me to the principal. Everyone looked at me questioningly but I wore a similar confused expression.
"My apologies, I'll be back." I said quickly before leaving. I was slightly anxious making my way to the principals office but I was certain I wasn't in trouble. I swiftly made my way down the last of the hall and knocked on Principal Nezu's door. It swung open a moment later and Nezu invited me in. All Might was there... now that both concerned and confused me.
"Hello Iida, I'm sure you're wondering why you are here."
"Yes I am sir, if you don’t mind me asking... did I do something wrong? Am I in trouble."
"Oh no, this isn't about you exactly Iida... though it is a.. family matter." Now I was even more confused then before.
"I don't quite understand sir? Did my parents call you..?"
"...." there was silence but only for a minute or two.
"When did you last see your brother, Young Iida?" All Might began..
"Rougly two days ago... why?"
"I think you should visit.." Nezu said softly. I felt myself grow cold. My face fell. And I bolted out the door. I felt so many emotions swamp me. Terror, anger, pain, sadness, terror. I ran as fast as I could without damaging myself and soon made it to the hospital. The receptionist asked for my name. I said Iida and she instantly understood. There was no paperwork, bo questions. That only made this feeling worse. I stepped into his room...
