"How come? The cat ate your tongue? You weren't so quiet a bit ago" (y/n) smiled devilish.
The girl in front of her had waterfalls falling from the eyes, she was so sure to win, she had a perfect cheat that not even (y/n) could find out. Unfortunately she was a bit too sure, the council member spotted it in less than 15 minutes and destroyed the girl using her tactics against her.

"Misui Mibori is out of the tournament, (y/n) (l/n) is the winner of the game" the dealer announced.
The (h/c) haired girl smirked while lot of students cheered.

Although of the third win of the day (y/n) still felt her heart heavy and filled with anger. She missed Mary. So much. But she didn't really wanted to know what Mary thought. They haven't talked since she found out the closeness between her and Kirari, three days ago, in a pretty ambiguous situation.

(Y/n) was sitting on the table in the council room as Kirari looked at her aquarium. She was complaining about how to talk to Sayaka about her feelings. "Well, You built that tower, just wait for the right moment" her best friend said.

Kirari walked over the girl resting her hands on her thighs "Wow (y/n), your ideas are always smart" Kirari smiled ironically while shacking her head. The (h/c) giggled "Fuck you Kirari".

Kirari tilted her head "Fuck me yourself  you coward". In that moment Mary opened the doors of the council room. The slight smile she had on her lips completely disappeared when she saw the platinum head with her hands on her girlfriend's thighs.

(Y/n) tried for all the three days to talk to Mary but all the time got ignored and obtaining kill glares.
It was getting really tiring and anger started to take over the willing of explaining so the girl started to gamble to calm herself down.

(Y/n) looked at her phone and messaged Yumeko.

(Y/n) sighed and returned in the classroom of the tournament. As she entered, the table at the center were completely surrounded by students. 'Mh, they are already here?' .

As some students noticed the member of the council they parted to let (y/n) pass. She noticed a certain ravenette and only in that moment she could spot a certain blonde as her opponent. Her eyes widened as she took a deep breath and walked over the table.

Mary on the other hand tried to keep her head high as her eyes started to tickle. (Y/n) noticed it and for once let her pride down "I retire" and turned walking out of the room as every student watched her dumbfounded and confused. They know the two are dating but they've always been very competitive in gambles, the council member retiring was an unexpected thing for everyone.

Mary widened her eyes as she followed her girlfriend's back, rage added to the previous rage. Mary slammed her hands on the table gaining everyone's attention minus the only one she wanted. She dashed off following the other girl.

Mary speeded up. As she was close enough to the (h/c) haired girl to take violently her arm and bring her to the first empty classroom.

"Mary, damn, you're hurting me" (y/n) whined getting her arm free from the blonde's grasp.
"Why did you leave?" Mary asked, her voice determined and serious.

"What?"
"Why did you leave?" She took a sharp breath to prevent her voice from cracking.

(Y/n) eyed the girl up and down before giving her a sweet glance "You were about to crack. I could see the tears behind your eyes, I did not wanted everyone to see you cry and broke your imagine".

Mary furrowed her brows "If you care about me, then why cheating on me?" She seemed desperate "With Kirari" she added. The eyes showed anger and betrayal.

"I would never cheat on you" (y/n) never been this serious "if you had listen to me you would have understood that Kirari is my childhood best friend, we've grown together, we have a sister-like bond. It's normal to have affection and teases between us"

Mary stared at the girl "you think I believe you?"
(Y/n) felt rage filling her body "Mary, listen, I love you, I never loved someone more than you, I could never cheat on you and to add with Kirari. You know why I have been with her? No. It was because she didn't know how to confess to Sayaka"

The betrayal and anger Mary felt transformed all in shame "I-"

"You what?" (Y/n) sternly asked offended "You don't even trust me enough to believe to me, or to let me explain. I get you're jealous but at least listen to me"

Mary lowered her head and her eyes started burning. Her hands in fists while the other girl looked at her disappointed.

"Listen Mary, I get it, Kirari and you are enemies and all, you try to destroy her and she actually plays with you. I knew that you would have this reaction and that's why I did not tell you and was waiting for a better time" the (h/c) haired girl stated.

As Mary wiped her tears away with her sleeve (y/n) felt a wave of guilt and sadness. It really sadden her being the reason of Mary's tears.

(Y/n) walked over to Mary and embraced her, giving her some kisses on the head/temple as the perfume of the girl invaded her senses. It made her so weak and only now she realized how much she missed the blonde.

"Babe, I'm sorry. It was my fault I should've told you when we started dating and I should have talked to you right away. If you're still mad I get it and I'll do everything to make it up" (y/n) said sweetly to the taller/shorter girl. She missed the golden eyes that looked at her with love and adoration, the playful insults, the red puffed cheeks whenever she would give the other a compliment or a tease, the stole hugs and a billion of other things.

Mary hide her face in the crook of (y/n)'s neck, her sobs disappearing and her arms making their way around the waist of the other. This was the thing (y/n) hated the most, seeing a broken Mary who isn't even capable of looking in her (e/c) eyes while speaking. Knowing that she was the reason of this broke her own heart and she started thinking how stupid she's been.

After a bit Mary talked "I must confess I overreacted. I love you so much and because of this I'm scared of losing you. But I shouldn't worry, I never met someone as loyal as you" (Y/n) could feel a little smile against her skin "but you'll have to make it up, surprise me".

(Y/n) took a deep breath and smiled "Can i start by taking you on a date tonight?".
Mary distanced herself a bit just to look in the (e/c) eyes "Only if you wear a suit".
(Y/n) giggled "As you wish blondie".

Hiii, school is destroying me and people have lot of expectations on me and it seems like my brain doesn't want to collaborate. Anyways.

Also I feel like in this chapter Mary is pretty much ooc :/
