"So, spit it out", Alya still glared at me. She pinned me to the wall so I won't get away, even if she didn't the girls were still around me so....

"Fine, I didn't got my mark", I blurted miserably.

Their faces went from curious to sorrow, then proceeded to hug me.

"Are you sure its not on your other wrist. Perhaps anywhere on your body?", Mylan suggested, knowing including  the girls that I wanted Adrien's initials that badly on my wrist.

"No, its no where, I don't have a...", I paused because I hate to have to admit it again, I was really hurt.

"Maybe it came late?", Alix suggested another solution.

"No one in history, ever didn't got there mark on their 17th birthday. This is destiny you guys, me and Adrien will never happen", I started to cry, worrying everyone around.

"Don't say that, maybe it didn't come yet", Alya said what Alix said again.

We all went into a group except for Juleka.

"Anything wrong Juleka?", I asked, noticing that she wasn't really active in the whole situation.

"Nothing just thinking", she mumbled.

"Let's get your mind out of everything that happened and let's just bring you to your surprise okay?", Alya smiled, trying to cheer me up.

"Thanks girl", I smiled back and we dashed down the stairs.

Juleka's p.o.v:

What do I tell her? What do I do? Was this destiny? How do I tell Mari that she's not the only one without a mark as well? Like my brother Luka.....

(Back flash....3 years ago)

"Happy birthday brother!", I jumped up to surprise my bro.

I was 15 at this time and Luka just turned 17. He's been always talking about his mark and wondering who he was going to get. I asked him what letters he wanted on his wrist. And he said....

"Oh, nothing much. I don't really mind. But as long as the person is extraordinary and is always on my mind then I happy. But if I really want any specific letters on my wrist, it would be MDC",

I never knew who he meant by those letters. But now I'm here, thinking about it, is it possible that he was talking about Marinette?

(Back to back flash)

"Brother, what does it say on your wrist? Did you get the letters you wanted?", I asked him.

He just looked away.

"What's wrong brother?", I asked again.

"I....didn't get a mark at all", he finally spoke up avoiding eye contact.

"Why?", I started to worry.

Brother not getting his mark? Does that mean he will never find true love?

"I don't know. I guess I was never meant to spend the rest of my life with someone I love", he looked up.

"That's sad, will you be okay?", I questioned his well-being.

"Yeah, anyway, love isn't really my thing to be honest. Not what happened to mu-", he paused and glanced back to the ground.

"Happened to what?", I begged for more.

"Juleka", we exchanged glances.

"Yeah?", I answered back.

"Promise me you'll be careful with love. Make sure your future soulmate loves you for you and nothing else. I don't want you to end up with no body like me", he said.

"What makes you think I'll end up with a soulmate too?", I asked.

"Why wouldn't anyone end up with a soulmate as beautiful and caring as you?", he finished.

Now knowing he probably meant Marinette at that time and both of them not having marks, does that mean they're meant to be?

I don't want brother to end up lonely, nor my friend who helped me through so much. I want to make sure its true.

"Hey Marinette", I called out, we were still walking to the Eiffel tower by the end of the back flash.

"Yes Juleka?", she replied.

"I got a messaged from Luka, he said to wish you a happy birthday", I lied.

She blushed a bit and got more clumsy. Is that a sign that she likes him?

"Haha, thanks, tell him I said happy birthday too- I mean tell him I said thank you for the happy birthday wish", she stuttered. I have my hopes up for this, but I don't want to tell her yet. I'm not sure if its true for sure.

"Hey Juleka, you've been awful quiet this afternoon until now", Rose, my girlfriend/soulmate came up behind me.

"I was just thinking", I mumbled.

"I know you better, what were you thinking about?", she leaned in closer.

"Nothing much, just you", I fake smiled.

"Really?", she smiled happily.

I nodded but then her face went back to her "you're lying" face.

"Fine, but don't tell the others", I whispered.

"Okay", she lowered her voice.

"I think Luka is Marinette's soulmate 'cause he never got his mark on hid 17th birthday as well", I explained in a low tone.

She was shocked and didn't believe me at first, but then she realised how lonely he is and how he has never dated before.

"Are you sure you're not wrong. Her mark could've been late", Rose asked.

"Well, I can tell, even though they might not see it, they have secret feelings for each other and well, Luka said one time how he would want the letters MDC on his wrist, exactly Mari's initials", I gathered my evidence.

"Makes sense, but how will we find out for sure?", Rose asked.

"I got a plan", I answered back.
