Jealous
AFTER DAYS OF "PROCRASTINATING" KAI AND CATALINA finally made it back home to Mystic Falls. Something about calling it home was different for the Santos girl now, her feelings for the Parker boy growing by the day unfortunately, knowing those feelings were not returned. It was a battle in her mind she wasn't sure it she could deal with or not.
"Welcome home, sweetheart." Kai chuckled and picked her up out of the car, his arms shaking ever so slightly but, not as if he was about to drop her.
"Someone is getting some muscles, when I first got here you couldn't pick me up for shit." Catalina joked, wearing a foolish smile on her face.
"Yeah, yeah." the Parker man rolled his eyes as he carried Cat to the door. "Am I cooking tonight?"
"Yes, I just want to be lazy on the couch." the Santos woman sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Fine, make me do all of the work." Kai smirked slightly, wanting to get a rise out of the girl.
As she was about to answer, Catalina heard voices, people, "Stop."
"What is it?" the Parker man questioned with his brows furrowed in confusion.
"There is someone in the house." Cat shook her head. "...and i'm not really looking forward to finding out who it is right now."
"That's impossible, me and you are the only people who have been here...ever." Kai shook his head. "We should just go inside."
"What if they are evil? Like worse than you evil?"Catalina questioned thoughtfully. She was more scared for him than she was herself, he couldn't die but they hadn't exactly tested if she could or not.
"Fine, we'll play this game. Can I use some of your magic, please?" the Parker man asked, annoyance in his tone. He wasn't the type to ask for anything but the last time he took her magic Cat got mad, and he didn't exactly feel like trying to make up for it anymore than he had to.
"For what?" the Santos woman asked, she wasn't just going to let him take it for no reason.
"I'll do a spell so that if there actually are people in there, they won't actually see us. "Kai shrugged. "Is your answer yes or no?"
"Yeah." Cat sighed lightly, closing her eyes as she realized this would tire her out. "Don't take too much, I don't want to be out for days again."
She sent him a slight glare, remembering the last time this had happened.
"Believe me, I don't want you to be out at all." The Parker man placed his hand on her chest.
"Really? If you were looking for an excuse to touch my-" she was cut off by the draining of her magical energy but, he stopped in time for her to remain conscious, Catalina's head fell slightly, trying to gain back any energy she could.
