First "date"

I did the usual weekly routine, college and working part time at a local coffee shop. I'm so excited for saturday! I cant stop smiling, my friends are starting to get annoyed at me even though they should be happy for me 🙄

~Timeskip to saturday~

I opened my wardrobe to try and find something to wear, sexy or casual? I thought. Well I wanna impress Mikasa so i may aswell wear something sexy. Wait that reminds me, Mikasa took my favourite hoodie with her when she left! Oh well it's my fault for throwing up on her..i'm still embarrassed about that.
I spent about 30 minutes looking for the right thing to wear when i spotted the perfect thing! It was my mother's old favourite dress from the 90s. It was a red slip dress that went down to just a couple inches above my knee. It was a bit too revealing for a restaraunt on its own so i put a white shirt underneath, so cute! I put on some heels that weren't too fancy and grabbed my purse.

I quickly texted Mikasa saying "Hi just leaving my apartment now! See you soon"
she replied saying "Looking forward to it :)"
Omg she put a smiley face! But that doesn't mean anything right?

I took a taxi/uber to Trost and waited outside the restaraunt for Mikasa, she was actually there just around the same time as me.
Okay deep breath (y/n).
"Hey Mikasa, so nice to see you again! I've been so excited for this all week." i say.
"Hi (y/n) i've been excited too, let's go inside" she said.
"Are you hungry?" 'Mikasa asked.
"Yes i'm starving!" i said.
"Hello, table for two please." Mikasa said to the waiter.
"There you go, have some menus and i'll come back soon!" the waiter said.
"Thank you!" we said at the same time which made me blush a bit.
"So what are you going to get?" Mikasa asked me.
"The pozole sounds good or maybe the enchiladas, what about you?" i said.
"I think i'll just get whatever you get, i'm not fussy."
"Okay, let's get the tacos!" i said.
"You look great by the way (y/n)." mikasa said softly.
I blushed so much, i think i was dying inside. "O-oh thank you! Haha you look really good too." i say stuttering.
"Why are you so dressed up? Just wondering." she asked.
Oh shit, i forgot this wasn't a date and Mikasa was just wearing a pleated skirt and a jumper
"I-i just really like dressing up! I have a lot of things in my wardrobe that i never get to wear so i just thought why not, haha!"
"Oh okay, well you look really pretty today." she said smiling.
wow i am crushing on her so bad right now i thought.
"you too! well you always do" i say.
I could see she was blushing a bit, it was really cute. I wonder if maybe she does like me? Wait but everyone blushes when they get a compliment, i'm just overthinking it.
