Lucifer was incredibly nervous. Tonight, he was proposing to Chloe. He wanted it simple. They were watching a movie, and when it was over, he's going to pop the question. The movie had five minutes left, and he was prepping himself. The end credits rolled and he got down on one knee. Chloe saw and put her hands over her mouth.
"Detective, Chloe. I have loved you since you shot me. I realized it about a year ago, so I asked you out. When you said yes, I was the happiest I had been in a long time. I love your little offspring, and Dan is still a douche. I love you Chloe Decker, and I wanted to know if you will be my bride. Will you marry me?" he asked. She was crying happy tears but managed to say, "Yes! Yes, I will!"
They kissed and everything was right in the world.
