Kiefer
It's been a week since my encounter with Mika, and to be honest, I'm not so sure anymore how we'll interact with each other again. I'm lying on my bed with my phone in my hand, I look over to the desk beside my bed and I see the paper where Mika's number is written on. I've tried several times to text her but the moment my fingers are ready to start typing, I chicken out. I guess I'm scared that she wouldn't want to be friends with me but maybe I'm just exaggerating, I don't know.
I go to her instagram and I see that she posted a new photo of a pair of shoes she got from Nike. I check how long it's been since she posted that photo, and it says 7 minutes ago. Wait, is she online? I check the activities of the people I follow and it says that she liked a photo 21 seconds ago. Oh, she's online alright.
I man up and I type her number on my phone, adding her to my contacts. I stare at my phone for a while, then a voice in my head speaks. "If she doesn't reply, it's her loss because at least you know you tried"
My fingers start moving and I find myself typing.
Me: Hi Mika, this is Kiefer.
Sent.
Delivered.
Read.
Crap
Mika: Oh, Hi Kiefer! Paano mo nakuha number ko?
Me: Ah, nakuha ko kay Thirdy. I hope you don't mind.
Mika: Oh it's fine.
Kay, so it kinda turned awkward after that. I don't know what to say anymore. I desperately tried to think of things we could talk about, so I messaged her a minute later.
Me: So how are you?
Mika: I'm good! I just finished training, how about you?
Me: I'm good too, now that I'm talking to you.
Sent.
Delivered.
Read.
She isn't typing, she hasn't replied for a while now. Is she still there? Wow Kiefer so obsessivem, wag ka nga ganyan, I silently scold myself.
Mika: Waw grabe naman.
Wait, why did she just say that. I look at my message to her, and I gasp. I accidentally typed my thoughts and mindlessly sent it to her.
Holy crap.

Kiefer is typing..
I get back from training and I see that someone texted me. Unknown number, hmm who could it be? I check the message. I gasp.
It's Kiefer Ravena. What
We started chatting but a couple of messages later. It became awkward, he started a new topic, I replied and now he's typing.
Kiefer: I'm good too, now that I'm talking to you.
I fell off the bed. I pick myself up and I sit on the floor instead, not bothering to go back to my bed.
Did he seriously just type that? I'm in complete shock now. I'm not replying, oh damn, I have to reply, what should I say?
Me: Waw grabe naman.
Kiefer doesn't reply for a while. Did I give a wrong reply?
Kiefer is typing...
Oh good, it's all fine.
Kiefer: So what are you doing tomorrow?
He changed the topic, aw. It's Saturday today, we have no trainings on Sundays. So if he'll invite me somewhere, I can go. YES. Hay naku Mika wag ka nga mag assume na mag iinvite siya sayo.
Me: Umm.. Wala naman, walang training bukas eh.
Kiefer: Oh, so do you want to hang out tomorrow?
I scream and I start dancing around the room as if I was Taylor Swift in the You Belong with Me music video.
My fingers are trembling as I type my reply to him.
Me: Sure! Saan gusto mo?
Kiefer: How about lunch sa Eastwood, I'll pick you up around 10:30 so that we can talk pa and stuff.
Me: Okay sure, so I'll meet you outside Taft na lang?
Kiefer: Yup.
Me: Kay, sige Kiefer, I'll go na ha. I'm gonna have dinner with my team mates. Bye, see you tomorrow!
Kiefer: Okay, looking forward to it :)
I think I just melted.

Hi guys! Sorry for the super short update, I promise I'll make the next chapter longer. Anyways, DID YOU GUYS SEE THE PICTURES OF MIEFER WHEN THEY WERE IN TARLAC TOGETHER? KIEFER HAD HIS ARM AROUND MIKA AND HE KEPT RESTING HIS HEAD ON HER SHOULDER, CAN WE JUST TAKE A MOMENT HERE AND THANK THE LORD FOR THIS. AND DID YOU SEE KIEFER'S IG PICTURE OF HIM AND MIKA?
