"'Cause I remember when my Father put his fist through the wall that separated the dining room."
I take a deep breath, looking at my house, seeing that my parents car is home. "Text me if anything happens, love. Okay?" I nod.
"I will Jack, see you later." I respond, giving him a smile.
"Be careful, okay?" I give a small nod and get out of the car before he drives off. I walk up the stairs to the front door and open it, trying to make as little noise as possible.
"Tessa!" I hear my Dad growl. "Where were you?"
"Out with Jack..." I whisper.
"What was that?"
"I was out with Jack!" I say louder.
"We've told you not to go out with him before. We forbade you from going out with him last time. What made you think this time would be any different?" My Mom expressed, crossing her arms.
"I thought that if I went out with him and nothing happened, I could prove to you both that he's a good guy and boyfriend!" I say before covering my mouth.
"You're dating him!?" Dad bellows, standing up from his chair.
"I am! I know he's a great guy, but you both don't care enough to see that. You only look at what's on social media, they change the story! While you may think you know the real Jack, you don't! If you'd only take a second to even try to get to know him, you'd see that he's different! You can talk to anyone else in his life, his bandmates, family, fans that have met him, he's NOTHING like social media portrays." I yell at my parents, a few tears streaming down my face before I run up the stairs into my room. I slide down the door, pulling my phone out to call Jack. As I do, I hear my Father yell in anger. I hear a loud crack, I'm not sure what it is, but I don't care. I press Jack's contact and call him.
"What is it, love?" He says once the dial tone stops.
"Jack... they were so upset. I accidentally told them we were dating. I couldn't help it. I'm so sorry." I sob.
"It's okay, Tess. Calm down, do you need me to come get you?"
"No.." I shake my head, letting out a sob. "It'd just make them more upset."
"Are you sure?"
"...No..." I pull my hand through my hair. "I don't know what to do, Jack."
"I'm coming to get you, Tessa. Whether you like it or not, you can't stay there right now. Please pack a bag."
"Fine..." I breathe out. "Should I just pack for tonight?"
"As many days as you want, love. I'm always gonna be here for you." I hear his car door shut.
"I think my Dad punched something."
"What?"
"I argued with them Jack, my Dad was so upset. I think he punched something, but I don't know what." I say, my voice cracking a little as I stand up.
"Are you scared? Do you want me to come inside and get you?"
"No, Jack. I'm fine... I just... I've never seen him so upset." I say as I start stuffing clothes into the bag.
"You're okay though?"
"Yes." I hear him let out a sigh of relief. I quickly close the zipper on my bag before slinging it over my shoulder.
"I'm just pulling up."
"I'll be down in a second. I'm gonna hang up and I'll see you in a bit."
"K, see you then, love." I quickly hang up and make my way down the stairs. I walk to the front door, seeing a hole in the wall in between the living room and the front entrance. He did punch something...
