In the mansion that was Galley-La's headquarters, a group of people sat solemnly looking at the newspaper in front of them. Their new bounties gave them no joy. Slapped front and center on the front page of the article was a picture of Luffy fighting Rob Lucci, and right next to it, a picture of Itachi, staring eye to eye with Aokiji.

'In a shocking turn of events, a new rookie pirate group known as the Straw Hat Pirates broke down the gates of Enies Lobby to take back one of their own: Nico Robin! That's right! The Demon Child of Ohara, the scourge of the World Government who is rumored to be trying to revive the terrible ancient weapons, was captured by the World Government! But her crewmates broke down the gates of Enies Lobby and fought the esteemed secret intelligence group, CP9! As you can see on the front page, the right image is of their captain, Straw Hat Luffy (Bounty on page A4) defeating one of the most powerful agents to ever grace the World Government: Rob Lucci! Straw Hat Luffy defeated Rob Lucci in a decisive victory at the Bridge of Hesitation in the midst of a Buster Call. Unfortunately, they did not come away unscathed. In the image to the left, another member of the Straw Hat crew known as Uchiha Itachi was left behind while the rest of the Straw Hats made their escape! How absolutely hypocritical of them to rampage all over Enies Lobby for a single woman, only to leave one of their own behind! Pirates are truly despicable, only interested in money and women. They know nothing of friendship and bonds! Uchiha Itachi was easily their strongest member, next to his captain, able to plow through multiple warships and hundreds of high-ranking marines. It was unfortunate that he had to fight against Admiral Aokiji in a last-ditch effort to escape, and the young Straw Hat survived! We don't know the location of the new member, but be warned, this pirate is a very dangerous individual!

The article had left the entire crew seething with rage. How dare they?! How dare they suggest that the Straw Hats would willingly leave a friend behind.

The picture in the article confirmed that Itachi was alive. They had rescued one friend only to lose another. Zoro had stalked out after reading the article hoping to find a way to blow some steam off. Chopper and left with Robin to distract themselves with helping the Franky Family. Sanji couldn't very much leave as he had to cook for Luffy, but he'd already gone through an entire pack of cigarettes in his restlessness. Nami tried to distract herself with money, but all the gold she saw only further reminded her of Itachi.

In such a short amount of time, Itachi had become something more than just a friend. As much as Luffy was the life and energy of the crew, Itachi had become their anchor. The ever-reliable, ever helpful Uchiha Itachi, who loved to paint. Who was always reading. Who they could always depend on to pull them out of tough situations.

His sketchbook and his scroll were laying in the corner of the room; nobody had the guts to touch them.

Robin stood on the coast of the little rocky area where the Franky Family's house was located. Chopper was checking up on the two King Yagara Bulls Sodom and Gomorrah.

"Why did you do it, Itachi? You promised me that you would stay. Stay and protect them." Robin Thought.

She looked forlornly out to sea, watching the Puffing Tom cross the water. She wrapped Itachi's cloak tighter around her.

"Where's my guardian angel?"

Timeskip

In the sea, there was a big white boat that was traveling through the sea. This boat was none other than the white Moby Dick. To recap, the Navy had successfully captured the 2nd commander, Fire fist Ace. After hearing the news, most of the world is preparing for the war of a lifetime. What would happen, would the Navy will be successful in ending the pirate era, or is it gonna be the Great Whitebeard pirates saving their comrade, and letting the pirate dream run wild once again?

The crew of Whitebeard was just drifting towards their enemy's base: Marineford. Whitebeard was sitting on his big chair, waiting for the battle to begin. All his sons and daughters were prepared to be saving their commander.  All the commanders were ready, including a certain shinobi that was welcome back home. Itachi had experience with the war already, and it's the instinct of winning and survival. He was at loss of thought after hearing the lost Thatch, the 4th commander and somewhat of Itachi's teacher of the teacher. He couldn't be knowing the differences and new powers if it wasn't for him. Itachi sighed and started to reminisce about the parts that Thatch teach Itachi.

Flashback

"Haki is spiritual energy. Your willpower. The stronger your will, the greater you can manifest this energy." Thatch began to lecture.

At the mention of spiritual energy, Itachi instantly thought of chakra. Chakra was a mixture of an individual's physical and spiritual energy. If this "Haki" was just spiritual energy, he should be able to grasp it within a few hours.

"There are three types of Haki. Armament. Observation. Conqueror's. Each one has unique abilities, as well as unique stages that can be achieved. We'll start with Armament..."

The lecture lasted a few hours, with Thatch explaining in-depth the enhancing and destructive uses of Armament Haki, the future-predicting abilities of Observation, and the overwhelming power of Conqueror's. He would follow each one up with a demonstration.

Itachi was quite impressed with Thatch. He might honestly have a stronger grasp of Haki than Whitebeard did. He was even more surprised to hear of the rarity of Conqueror's within the population. Having three people on a ship with it was almost unheard of, especially when two of them, Whitebeard and Thatch, had such masterful control over it.

With the lecture over, Itachi thanked Thatch and ambled over to his favorite spot by the port side rail and began to attempt training his Haki.

"Armament seems like the best one to start with."

Flashback ended

"Yo, Itachi!" A voice snapped Itachi out of his thoughts and look around to find out that Marco was calling him. "You doing alright?"

"Just...processing, Marco. Forgive me." Replied Itachi. "Hey, don't sweat it. It's been years, so don't blame yourself. You didn't know or could have stopped it." 

"Perhaps you're right, but still, we wouldn't be in this predicament if Ace listened. But as we all know, he's somewhat of a hothead." Marco gave out a chuckle. "Ain't that the truth?"

"Everyone! We are entering the Navy's base!" announced Whitebeard. "SO GET YOUR ASSES READY FOR BATTLE!" Both Itachi and Marco prepared for their entrance for one of the biggest wars of all time.

"Hey, Itachi?" asked Marco. Itachi turns to face him. "Let's make sure we can save Ace." Itachi blinked then smiled towards his comrade.

"Don't worry, we will. I can assure you that we will."
