it's wasn't much of a surprise when elliot got caught with his pants down two days later and a brunette that wasn't lia went running out of their hotel room.
it wasn't much a surprise when kat was the first one to go rushing in, grabbing the first thing she could find, which just happened to be one of harry's shoe that had been kicked off and forgotten the night before when they all crowded on the two beds and pull out couch to watch some dumb out of season holiday romcom, and goes for his head.
aria didn't try to protect him. she was too busy being held back by tom so she wouldn't murder her brother, her eyes narrowed, trying to carve him up into turkey bits for her dog in her mind.
getting kat to stop beating elliot with the shoe took harrison and calum both, each had one arm connected with hers as she kicked and tried to get back at elliot.
it wasn't a surprise when a fight broke out, lots of yelling between the friend group about what a bastard elliot was.
what was a surprise though, was lia blurting that they had been broken up for almost a month and just didn't know how to tell anyone.
"broken up?" kat repeats, sounding out the words for herself, finally settling down. "as in no longer together?"
lia rubbed her forehead. "yes katherine, as in no longer together."
"so you two," she points at elliot who's grumbling under his breath and still on the floor. "broke up, and didn't tell anyone?"
"we didn't want you guys to make things awkward." elliot explains, using calum as a booster. "mission accomplished."
tom loosened his arms around aria.
she was too busy missing the feeling to worry about lia and elliot.
"why?" calum asks.
"he just told you why." lia grunts in annoyance.
"no, dumbass." he snips. "why did you break up?"
they all turn to lia for an explanation. again, aria was still too distracted to care much.
"oh." she says, blushing. "there wasn't really a reason, we just decided to go our separate ways.
"uh huh.." calum trails off. "okay, who wants to go to the pool?"
