- You look at the clock beside you and wince at the numbers

- It's 3 in the morning

- It was an early thursday morning, and you couldn't sleep because of work

"I have been letting loose for a while now, procrastinating important tasks, doing less than I should, the stress built up from that and now i feel too guilty to sleep...that's exactly how I ended up like this." You thought to yourself

-You glance at your sleeping boyfriend, his hair falling in front of his face

- In comparison to Louis it's as if i don't
work at all."

- So you carefully slip out of bed and sneak into the living room Clicking on the light you open your laptop, looking up your workload

- Mentally sighing at the amount, you settle on making some tea (or coffee, whatever you like) to properly get you in the zone

- Having a hot beverage in your hands, you return to the living room

-Setting down your drink on the coffee table, you pull your laptop closer to you and plop down on the couch

- "Baby?"

- You whip your head around to see a very tired Louis, squinting his eyes at the soft light

"What are you doing up so late?"

"I couldn't sleep.. so i figured instead of just laying there.. y'know, do something useful?"

- "Oh, darling" He shakes his head and walks over and sits next to you, taking your hands in his

-"You need to stop worrying about work, okay?" Louis states and before you can open your mouth in protest, "I know this is really hard on you, but what you're doing being up late like this won't help." He stands up and tugs on your arms

" I get it y/n/n, it's stressful, and you think you're not doing enough, but.. you are, more than enough. I promise it will get better, okay? I'll help you figure it out, I want to be here for you."

- You nod and hug him "I love you."
"I love you too" He says with a light smile as he closes your laptop before picking you up and heading towards the bedroom

A/n : I'm sorry I haven't been updating and this is really short..I may or may not upload another preference today...the reason unpublished hazel eyes was so I can write oneshots that way I wont have to worry about my updating schedule.
