Chapter 7:
The party started quiet quickly, filling the small garden with groups of people. All gathered for Sophie's birthday. Sophie seems to be nice. The theme of the party was princesses, all the children wore long dresses with tiaras and slippers. First they played games, then opened the presents and had the cake. Everyone was smiling and having a good time. I just sat and watched. "Okay everyone time for the piñata" all the children immediately jumped up screaming in joy as they heard the news. I never knew people would be so excited for me, a donkey piñata. The children all had smiles on their faces. "Okay kids let's go get ready" Linda said as she opened the door for the children, they all ran inside, some pushing others out of the way. As I sat excited and happy waiting for what was about to happen next, my excitement is transformed into fear; as they emerge out of the friendly seeming house holding baseball bats.
