Part 2: I what?

Hi all. I just wanted to write more of this story.

No POV:

"I what?"

Alya sighed. And made sure that her voice was as serious as humanly possibly.

"You like Marinette." 

After making sure that he had heard right Adrien furiously shook his head

Adrien POV:

I was still thinking about Alya's sentence. The sentence has been repeating itself in my head all day. 

'Do I like Marinette?'

"I like Marinette," I said aloud, "I like Marinette Dupain-Cheng."

There was only one problem. Well two. Two very big problems. Marinette's with Luka and I'm with Kagami. I didn't even know if Marinette liked me and I didn't want to be a homewrecker. 

Knowing that I liked her made everything change. I started to notice when I would stare at her and how I would notice every little detail. From the clothes that she was wearing to how she wore hair that day. I would glare at Marinette and Luka's hands linked together and how she smiled so sweetly up at him. Their relationship made me vomit. I sighed

"Adrien?" 

"Hm?" I looked up to see a raven haired girl looking at me from my office door. 

"We need to talk." 

"I'll give you guys some space." Marinette told her smiling at her before walking out the door. I looked at her figure walking in the distance and looked back at a quite distraught Kagami. 

"What's wrong?" I asked reaching over to put my hand over hers but she flinched and pulled her hand back. 

"I've seen the way you've been eyeing Marinette." My blood ran cold and I stood up to close the door. The last thing I wanted to do is make Marinette and Kagami hate me at the same time. 

"I'm sorry." I replied not being able to defend myself. I hung my head low feeling incredibly guilty for hanging onto Kagami when I've already fallen head over heels for another girl. 

"I know you didn't mean any harm but now it's really evident that you don't like me anymore. Not like the way that you used to. You don't listen to me when I talk, rarely go out with me on dates and rarely go on set to pick me up or look at my progress. All you do is follow Marinette around, if your whole body isn't then your eyes are." 

I felt selfish for toying with Kagami's feelings and I didn't know what to do to comfort her. 

"You don't have to feel selfish or guilty, I just want to set you free," she took a deep breath before continuing again," Adrien, it was great having the opportunity to date you but I'm breaking up with you. I hope that we can still be friends." She smiled before leaving. 

 Marinette POV:

I had gone downstairs to the lobby to give Adrien and Kagami some space to talk but I ran into Luka. He was just about to walk in when I saw him. I ran up to him and hugged him. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked surprised at his appearance, "I thought you had a show tonight." 

"Well, I thought it would be a good idea to drop off a little surprise to my beautiful girlfriend before I went to rehearsals." 

That's when I noticed the box he was holding. It was medium sized and I don't know how I didn't notice it before. I opened it to see a lovely cake, full with icing on top. 

"It's your favourite. Strawberry cake with pink icing." I knew that it was handmade because the icing was a little messy and not because it in the box, that was a different kind of messy. Also because he had flour in his hair. He had made sure to add a heart shaped strawberry chain on top to decorate. I hugged him again after putting the cake on a coffee table near by. 

"Thank you, I love it." I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek before cleaning up his hair. He smiled warmly at me and I waved goodbye to him as he left. I made my way to the kitchen and grabbed a fork to taste his heart felt surprise. The cake was a serving size so I wasn't going to be too full after eating it. 

As I made my way up the stairs, I ran into Kagami. Her eyes were watery and as her boss, I thought it was important to check up on her. I sat her down and placed the cake down. Her eyes trailed the white cube box. 

"What's in there?" She asked.

"Oh, Luka made a cake and dropped it off just then," I replied recalling his sweet smile.

"He must really love you then." Kagami whispered breaking down into tears. 

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked softly wrapping my arm around her shoulder. 

"I just broke up with Adrien."

"What? Why?" 

"Because.... because I don't think, well I know he doesn't like me anymore." Kagami choked. 

"Hey, look at me. You know, if Adrien doesn't like you then that's his loss. You're the brave one for setting him free and he's just a coward for playing with your feelings."

"No, no I know he means well. He just doesn't want to hurt my feelings." 

I sighed, "Men, they never understand us woman." I turned to Kagami, "You're an amazing girl and an awesome girlfriend. I've seen you comfort him at his lowest and your small gestures that would mean the world to any other man. You'll find someone that is worth as much as you deserve. And I'll always be here for you." 

She smiled wiping away her tears and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back and gave her a small squeeze. 

Okay, that's all for today. For any ML fans, I'm hope you liked it. And I'm super excited for season 4. I've seen Furious Fu already but it was in Brazilian and I can totally understand Brazilian. I hope the subtitles or the dub comes out soon. BYE!
