{Time rewind- Third POV}

"Tzuyu, this is Jihyo. Jihyo, this is Tzuyu. You guys have to get along ok?"

"Ok!" Jihyo's mum smiled at the girls and walked away. Jihyo turned around to Tzuyu. Jihyo smiled shined like the stars in the sky, with no bright city lights to dim them.

It was like the sun opened its eager light to shine about her, only brightening her perfectly aligned teeth.

"Hi! I am Park Jihyo! Nice to meet you! I hope we can be best friends one day!" She twirled around, her movements flowed with a dazzling grace. She was energetic while Tzuyu was standing there just staring at her.

Jihyo stopped twirling around and faced Tzuyu. "Why are you so quiet?" She asked curiously. Tzuyu was a shy girl that she hadn't answer her yet.

"W-why are you so loud" The reply made Jihyo jump into surprise.

"You talked!"

'What's so good about talking?'

"I am in year three! What about you?" Jihyo asked looking straight up at Tzuyu since she was taller than her.

"O-one"

"I am older than you by two years! Don't worry, just because I'm older, we can still be friends for ever and ever!"

Jihyo noticed something on her lip, it was a cut but she didn't run away like the kids who ran away from Tzuyu. Jihyo grabbed a tissue out of a pocket and tapped on her lip gently.

The corners of her mouth lift up into a smile and it hurts because the cut on her lip but she doesn't care. She lets her smile widen into a brilliant grin that has Sander beaming at her. She's laughing now, feeling absolutely delirious.

This is the first time for Jihyo to see Tzuyu going from a straight face to a happy glowing face. She smiled then laughed even though she doesn't know the reason why she's funny.

"You know..we just met today and..I feel like I am comfortable with you now, what I mean is I really want to be your first ever best friend"

"Because my mum told me that you don't have any friends so I will be your friend" she said

'You seem nice and kind but I don't know if you will be another fake friend'

{ Year 8 }
"Tzuyu! You are here, come sit down with me" Tzuyu awkwardly sat next to Jihyo, she took a deep breath before saying anything.

"Jihyo"

"Mm?"

"What... will you ever replace me as someone else?" She stopped eating. 'Was this too much?'

"Why are you asking me this question all of a sudden? You know I won't ever replace you. Then that means, I won't leave you, I promise my whole life I won't ever leave you"

"Thanks"
