Conflicted. (A Naruto joins Akatsuki fanfic)

Chapter 5:Returning Home,The Council and The Result

----------------------Konoha gates-------------------

Several Anbu stood by as the Hokage hugged the Kazekage goodbye ."Gaara,Be careful Orochimaru's spies are everywhere" Tsunade whispered and Gaara nodded."Do you think the Akatsuki is working with Orochimaru" He asked."I don't know Gaara" Gaara looked down and sighed."I wish this had never happened" Tsunade brushed a fallen tear from her face "I know I do too" 

Izumo and Kotetsu opened the gate and jumped back."Madame Hokage we got company "  The Anbu raced to the gate with their weapons drawn as ten figures with Akatsuki cloaks appeared."What is the Akatsuki doing here" An Anbu captain asked."We are here to give two letters to the Hokage and Kazekage" The Anbu captain looked at Tsunade and she nodded."Let them in" The Anbu moved and the Akatsuki went in. 

The only girl in the group had black hair and white eyes with grey pupils and pale skin. She was holding hands with a tall man."Naruto" Tsunade gasped.

Kakashi and Asuma rushed to the gates with Gai and Kurenai following close behind."Hurry, The Hokage and Kazekage may be in danger" Asuma shouted to Gai and Kurenai.

"Kakashi,It's the Akatsuki and it looks like Naruto is with them" An Anbu captain yelled when they arrived on scene. 

''Naruto'' Kurenai breathed as she saw Kakashi's face grow pale. Gai looked down and put a hand on Kakashi's shoulder."Kakashi maybe Naruto has decided to come back" Asuma shook his head "Gai, Why would the Akatsuki be here with him if he left and came back to the village" Gai's face grew red with embarrassment."You are right, where are our young protege's, If they heard the Akatsuki was here don't you think they'd be here to check if any of them is Naruto" Gai asked with a serious expression.

''I don't know Gai but I think we beside's the Shinobi here are the only ones who know" Kakashi said  his face still pale."Kakashi maybe you should...." Kurenai started but Kakashi cut her off "No, I want to see him".

 Kakashi walked toward Tsunade and stopped when he was besides her.

"Lady Tsunade, is he here, is Naruto here" Tsunade looked at Kakashi and Pointed Kakashi to Naruto. "Kakashi, I don't know why they are here but we need to go to my office would you and the others lead them up here, you can talk to Naruto during your walk up to my office and after we see what it is that they want" Kakashi nods and gestures toward Asuma, Kurenai, and Gai while Tsunade told an Anbu captain what was gonna happen.

"Naruto, who is the guy with the gravity defying hair" Mai asks her face all screwed up in a puppy dog look,Naruto laughed."Kakashi Hatake,My old sensei" Mai stops and nods."Oh, well i'm gonna go over there with Akira because here he comes now" She begins to move but Naruto stops her.

He shook his head."No, you're my girlfriend and if we have to be here for a while then you should meet him" Mai nods and stays with Naruto as Kakashi makes his way towards them."Akatsuki, Me and several other Jounin will be leading you to the Hokage's office, Follow me" Kakashi ignores Naruto as Gai and the other's show up.

They began to move towards the Hokage building and Kakashi made his way to Naruto.

Naruto held Mai by the hands as they made their way to the Hokage building."Naruto,Your back" Kakashi said standing besides him.Naruto turned towards Mai."Mai meet Kakashi. Kakashi meet Mai my girlfriend" Kakashi stuck his hand out and Mai took it looking him straight in the eye."you're from the Hisoka clan in Iwagakure. The one wiped out by your village" She nodded and Naruto gave her a hug.
