Conflicted. (A Naruto joins Akatsuki fanfic)

Chapter 7: Itachi and Sasuke and Akatsuki

Naruto walked up to Mai and put his arm's around her. He had heard Hinata and Sakura and was glad that Hinata was still the same sweet girl from before but he really wanted to know who was Hinata's boyfriend. "So Hinata, Who's the lucky guy." Hinata blushed and looked down. 

"It's Gaara" Naruto looked at Gaara, who had joined him. He wrapped his arms around Hinata. Mai smiled and leant back into Naruto's embrace. "Aren't they a wonderful couple, Naruto" Naruto smiled as he watched Hinata and Gaara, hug and kiss.

Chen and the other's who had joined up with them, outside of the restuarant, were watching Itachi's fight with Sasuke get broken up by Kisame. Who after he had finished laughing helped Itachi dodge the attacks. Tsunade, who had come with Gaara, shook her head and began to reprimand Sasuke.

"Hey, Baa-chan, Were we staying for the night" Tsunade twitched and punched Naruto into a building. Mai who jumped to safety besides her brother, giggled slightly at her boyfriend's pain.

"Mai, Your so mean" Mai laughed harder as Naruto peered up at her with sad blue puppy dog eyes. "Dude, It's Mai" Yujiro said, smirking, his expression rueful, which grew scared when Mai frowned at him. She began to walk slowly towards him with a creepy smile, which Yujiro then squeaked and made a run for it.

"Heathen's, we are going back to the F@**ing hotel." Hidan yelled. They made a move with their stuff, to go back. The Konoha nin, helping.

Itachi sighed after everyone was settled in. He was restless and looking over at Kisame, he made a move towards the door. "Kisame, I am going for a walk" Kisame nodded and his face grew concerned when Itachi left. It was not the first time he had been restless at night.

Itachi stopped at a familiar training ground and sat enjoying the night air, when a figure plapped down next to him. It was Sasuke. They sat in silence for awhile before Sasuke spoke. "Why did you kill them" His voice was silent and soft. Unshed tears in his eyes, that were kept hidden from his view.

"They were planning a coup and it was either that or be a traitor to the village and........." Itachi trailed off but Sasuke got the message. "Tsunade, told me, I just wanted to ask you for myself" He says, Sasuke looked down. "For so long, I hated you and I was obsessed with the notion of getting revenge. It blinded me and I left everything, for a monster."

Itachi nods and puts an arm around his brother. They hug and then they left. Itachi had a good night's rest for the first time in a long time.

The next morning, the rest of the Akatsuki came. Tobi annoying Deidara which annoyed Sasori. Pein leading his real form, hidden in a cloak and his paths. Konan with Zetsu admiring the beauty of the village and each holding a scroll. 

Pein went up to Tsunade and Gaara and they left to begin peace talks while the rest of the Akatsuki met up with each other and began to catch up.

Hey, long time no see. So I was on an unexpected Hiatus. Trying to cure some writer's block and improve my writing which hopefully I did. Anyway I owe you guy's so bad for going off without telling you so two ne\w albeit short chapter's. Comment, Vote. Please. Alway's makes me happy. =)
