Purple clouds floated across the sky whilst the sun slowly seeped down behind the mountains. It was just the end of another day on Sodor and most of the engines were making their way to their sheds to sleep.

Emily smiled to herself as she gently dropped off her coaches at Knapford Yard. She has spent the whole day pulling passengers back and forth between stations so she was ready to take a well deserved rest.

"It has been quite a long day ay, Emily?" Her driver inquired, walking over to the emerald engine.

"Surely it was..." She yawned. "But well... at least I'm done with the jobs for the day..." She smiled tiredly.

The driver nodded in agreement and then patted her running board in a caring manner. "Well then, I think you might sleep at Knapford sheds for tonight..."

Emily's eyes locked on the man once this had caught her attention. "Why that?" She inquired.

"I can guess you're very tired. You've been puffing the entire day so you need to take a rest on a nearby set of sheds." disclosed the driver. "You're not about to puff all the way back to Tidmouth, do you?"

"No, no, no. I can take it." Emily tried to convince, but sleepiness weighed on her eyelids causing them to quiver slightly in a want to close.

"Sorry there, Emily. But you must do it. Besides... Knapford sheds is the same set of sheds where your girlfriend sleep, isn't it?" inquired the driver with a smirk.

"Y-Yeah, it is." adverted Emily, with a faint blush covering her cheeks.

"See? That's another reason why you should do it!" commented the driver as he walked back to his cab.

Emily chuckled and uncoupled herself from her coaches before wheeshing some steam to head off to Knapford sheds, which wasn't so far away from where she was.

Once she arrived, she went to the turntable and backed up into one of the so many berths there was. She couldn't help but feel nostalgic, as she was used to sleep there before Tidmouth sheds had a 7th berth.

She looked over and smiled warmly at the sight of the sunset, despite her eyelids not being a help at all. She was ready to take a long nap, until a female voice piped up,

"Emily!"

She flinched slightly by the calling and then looked up to see Molly puffing onto the turntable with a grin spread across her face.

"I'm so happy to see you here! I was thinking of making a small visit to you but guess you was faster than me." She chuckled.

"I guess so..." commented Emily sleepily.

Molly noticed her tiredness and her smile faded once it came to her mind. "You were sleeping, weren't you?"

"Almost..." She pointed out, "I was just about to fall asleep..."

"Oh...S-Sorry about that..." said Molly as she looked down at her buffers, blushing in embarrassment.

"No, that's okay...." She assured. "You didn't know it..." She yawned and smacked her lips before closing her eyes again.

Molly smiled softly at her and then turned around to back into the berth next to the emerald engine. "Well then goodnight...Love you...."

"Love you too..." murmured Emily back, though sounding sleepy it was still perceptible to the yellow engine.

Molly closed her eyes and so she quickly drifted off to sleep, happy once sleeping next to someone she loved.
