A Bakugou x Marinette Fanfiction

Part 3: The first day at UA.

*hey guys, just want ya to know, this AU isn't correct. There's lots of mistakes. I'm trying my best to fix them too. Like what some characters say, do, etc. Some things they don't do that in the show so just wanted to put that out there. I apologize if there's any mistakes! And sorry I didn't get this out later! I got my phone took away yesterday for a few hours so I couldn't finish. Sorry!*

*MARINETTE P.O.V.*
'It's my first day! I'm so so nervous! I mean, I didn't even think I'd get in, but here I am! Ok Mari, just focus! I have to wear the right uniform, I have to be polite, try and make some friends, and try my best to be the best hero I can be! I really hope Midoryia got into UA. He got hurt pretty bad and I wasn't able to see him after the exam. I hope he's ok.' I thought pacing around my room at 8 am. My dad teleported in my room.

"Marinette! You need to get ready. You have to go to UA soon!" My dad reminded me. "Oh right! Ok, I'll get ready." I said, snapping out of my thoughts. "Oh and I'm leaving for work. Tell your mother that. Good luck for the semester, Marinette!" My dad said, cheering me on. "Thanks!" I said putting in on my shoes. I walked out the door and settled off to UA.

I was running till I bumped into a tall, blonde, angry looking guy. "Oi! Why'd you bump into me, dumbass!" The blonde boy said. "I'm sorry I-I bumped into you. I wasn't looking were I was going. But I'm not a dumbass!" I yelled putting my head down. "Wanna say that to my face!?" The boy said. He lifted my chin up and our faces were inches apart.  So? I-It didn't mean anything! I noticed he looked a lot like Adrien. He blushed a little. I started blushing and saw his angry face and just said "SoRRY, NEVeRMiND!" quietly and ran off.

'So much for making friends.'

10 minutes later, I got to school. I was on time for the first time in forever.

I grabbed my schedule from my bag and re-read it. 'Class 1A. Which one is class 1A?' I thought, looking at each of the signs. '1A!' I thought, finding the classroom.

I opened the door to find chaos. 3 guys, a red haired, a yellow haired boy that looked like Pikachu, and a blonde haired were yelling at each other.The blonde one was the boy I had bumped into! 'Great. Now that boy's gonna hate me.' I thought, sighing out loud. There were a few other guys. One with 6 huge arms, one with tape on his elbows, one had a bird head. There was 6 girls huddled up in a group laughing and chatting about something. The blonde haired boy went to his desk and put his legs on it. A blue haired boy was making hand gestures and yelling at everyone to keep them in order. I was startled when one of the girls came up to me. "Hi! What's your name? Mine's Mina. Mina Ashido! What's your quirk mine is acid!" Mina said. "H-hi I'm Marinette Dupain Cheng. My quirk is blood." I stuttered out.

"Well nice to meet you!" Mina said, sticking her hand out. I shook her hand and went to an empty seat. I sat next to Midoryia. He was mumbling again. "H-hey!" I said. He screamed again. "Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you! I'm glad you got into UA too! And I'm glad that chubby cheeked girl is safe! You took a nasty hit. Are you doing good? Did that lady heal you well?" I said. "Hey, Marinette! O-oh yeah! I'm glad too. And she did help a lot." Midorya said. "Hey I have a question. Who's that blonde haired boy-" I asked but was cut off by that blondie.

"Oi. Talking about me, dumbass?" He said with a smirk on his face. "S-she's not a dummy, K-kachan-" Midorya started but was cut off by him. "STAY OUT OF THIS, SHITTY NERD!" He yelled. "Hey! HE'S NOT A SHITTY NERD! And I'm not a dumbass! You have no right to say those things to us! I was just asking who you are!" I yelled back. "The names Katuski Bakugou. Future number one hero. Quirk, Explosion." Bakugou said.

"Don't be so cocky, Blasty. Someone else could snatch that title." I remarked. "Just stay in your place dumbass!" Bakugou said as he walked away.

I walked away from Midoryia and went to a gloomy looking guy with a scar on his face.
"Hi! I'm Marinette Dupin Cheng. I just transferred here and I'm from Paris! What's your name?" I said, trying to make small talk. "Todoroki. Shoto Todoroki. My quirk is Half Hot-Half Cold." Todoroki said. "Oh. Well, what should I call you then?.... Ooh! I know! Maybe... IcyHot?" I questioned. Bakugou burst into laughter. He wiped a tear. "You really did him dirty, dumbass." The blonde managed to say through laughs. "Oh! Im so so sorry if I offended you. I won't use that nick name agai-" I stuttered. "No. You can. It's alright." IcyHot said.

A long yellow sleeping bag rolled into the room. I looked at it in confusion just as the others did. It up zipped and a man who looked homeless came out of it. "Uh...." Mina said. "Wait! It's the pro hero! Eraserhead!" A yellow haired boy yelled.

"I'm Shota Aizawa. I'm going to be your new teacher at UA. Today we're going to be doing a series of tests. To prove your athletic abilities. Come to the rooftop everyone." Aizawa Sensei said in a emotionless tone. We all got in line and went to the rooftop.

'I wonder what he has in store for us.' I thought.

"Alright and the person that comes in last will get expelled." Aizawa said. "WHAT!?" Class 1A screamed in shock. I was wide-eyed. 'Expelled!? I better do my best!' I screamed in my head.

I surprisingly didn't do bad. There was a few tests like a race, etc. Then there was the ball throw. I threw my ball and it went very high.

"697.3, not bad, Dupain-Cheng." Aizawa said looking at his stopwatch.
Lastly it was Midoryia's turn. I was worried for him since as he's shown, he can't really use his quirk without hurting himself. He managed to maintain his quirk in one part of his body. His finger. I was rather surprised that worried. The ball went to 705.2m, just like Bakugou's. 'Wow! He did so good!' I thought, watching him go back in line.

"Alright, and about the person in last getting expelled, I lied." Aizawa said at the end of the test. We all sighed of relief. "But that still doesn't mean you shouldn't have tried your best. Anyways, class dismissed. I will see you all tomorrow for physical training with All Might." Aizawa said with an emotionless tone. "Wait, THE All Might!?" I yelled. "Yes, he's going to be a teacher at our school for the year. Now scurry off you kids." Aizawa said.

We all went off home.

I told my mom every little thing about today.
"Well sounds like you had fun sweetie! Now go tell your father that dinner's almost ready!" Sabine said. "Alright Mom!" I said.

That night, I laid awake, reading and taking notes on some of the pro heroes. Every, single, one. 'I wonder what'll happen tomorrow because All Might's going to be there.' I thought as I put down my notebook and drifted off to sleep.

*oh and I know next chapter is going to be that episode where Deku and Uraraka, Iida, and Bakugou are the only ones teamed up but I want Marinette to have a team with some classmates as well, it'll be a turning point for Marinette 😃*
