Overview:
The night was cold. The roads were wet from the rain they'd had the night before. Spencer wasn't aware of this cause he'd been in Texas all week. Of course he didn't have a umbrella with him so he hurried out of the metro and awkwardly jogged to the foyer of his apartment building. He shook of his soaking wet coat and hurried up the stairs as he tried to push the wet hair out of his face. As he dragged up the stairs in his sopping clothes, he slipped and face planted the ground.

As he stood up, a young girl popped up from behind the mound of boxes as she hurried over to help him up.

"Oh my gosh are you ok?!" She gushed.

She extended her hand out to him to help him up and he hesitantly accepted. He was shocked by the amount strength she used to pull him to his feet.

"I'm really sorry about the boxes." She said nervously.

"I promise by the morning these will be out of the hallway. I'm May by the way" she said as smiled sweetly.

" Nice to meet you May. And don't worry about it I'm just clumsy. I'm Spencer by the way"

Now that Spencer was fully to his feet, he noticed just how young she was. She looked about 16, maybe 17 but definitely to young to be living alone in the apartment across the hall from his. She had carmely brown hair that was tied up in a knot on the top of her head, the color vaguely resembling the color of his. Her hazel green eyes and brown eyes glimmered ever-so- slightly in the poorly lit hallway. As did the small jewel that was emended on her left nostril. She was dressed in a light blue hoodie and dark colored leggings with white tennis shoes.

" Alright well it was nice to meet you May."Spencer said tiredly.

" You too" May said softly.

Spencer decided not to question her age, or anything for that matter. He was absolutely exhausted after the day he'd had. As he he unlocked the door he looked back to see May frantically trying to move the boxes into the apartment.

He chuckled to himself as he locked the door and put down his keys and gun. He plopped down on the bed and as soon as his head hit the pillow he fell asleep instantly.
