May's P.O.V

I looked at my mother who was sitting across from me. I was trying to remain calm and collected as I watched her pretend to contemplate a question to ask me for this petty game of hers. After about 2 minutes she still hadn't said a word.

" Mom...if you had me come here to sit in silence with you, then I think I'll be on my way." I hinted waiting for a response.

" Wait." She said abruptly.

I was completely and utterly confused. Was this part of game? Was she trying to get my guard down? Or maybe was it an attempt at bonding? The thoughts danced around my head as I watched her unwavering expression. She stared blankly at the door until suddenly we heard heavy foot steps down the hallway. At that moment she grinned evilly.

" What are you smirking about?" I asked cautiously.

"  Well You wanted answers, so I figured I'd deliver them in person!" She beamed

I was so confused . What could that possibly mean? I didn't have much time to think before the door swung open with such force it hit the wall and made the whole room shake. As it did so, I jumped up from my seat half ready to fight for my life. But then I looked at the man that stood before And gasped.

" What the hell?" He gawked as he made eye contact with me.

" Spencer? What are you doing here!? I shouted angrily.

I was furious! I was just getting somewhere with my mom when he barged in. I was about to say something else but then I saw my mother sitting up proudly as she practically glowed.

" Well I see you two have already met, so I'll make introductions quick!" She beamed. She turned to Spencer and locked eyes with him both their eyes meeting.

" Spencie, meet Maeve your daughter." As she spoke Spencer and I both looked at each other, both utterly confused.

" Maevey, meet Spencie your father!" Her words hung in the air for a second before I let out a scoff.

" Excuse me?" I boomed.

She looked at me with those dark beady eyes of hers and leaned forward so that I could feel her warm breath on my cheek.

" Told you it be a hell of reunion" she smirked and looked up at Spencer. She was laughing a little, like the kind of laugh you do when you've realized you've won.

He ignored her as he made eye contact with me. We both were at a loss for words in a complete sense of shock and confusion. I could tell he was just as confused as I. But his expression changed from one of confusion back to one of rage.

" Is this some sick joke?" He bellowed.

" That's a great question Spencer! Cause I was just wondering the same damn thing!" I yelled back at him

" Were you working with her this whole time? Have you been stalking me?!" He shouted. An I scoffed and raised an eyebrow, enraged by this accusation.

" Are you serious right now? If anyone's been stalking me its you! I trusted you! I mean you seriously didn't think to tell me you knew my mother?" I bellowed
