Watch Me Hallucinate

The deafening screech of birds pierced the silence, jolting me from my stupor. Dazed, I felt enclosed by the suffocating humidity. Rain forest trees loomed over me like shadowed monsters. Sweat slid profusely down my face as I caught glimpses of movement in the canopy above me. In a flash, their was a bright white searing pain that made my body tremble with violent tremors. In that moment I could see nothing but a blinding light. Then, as quickly as the vision came, I was back in my safe room, sweating heavily and shaking with shudders. Over exertion gave me weak knees, and I collapsed against the cold welcoming floor. I breathed in deeply the stale air of my cage and raised a quaking pen to recall the chaotic event and end with this statement. "Dear reader, I have reached insanity and am experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations and u wouldn't doubt that you and area figment of my imagination as well." When food came, I was to nauseous to eat, and I desperately gulped down my water. My thoughts faded to black as I sink into a restless sleep
