She was beautiful. Young and innocent. She was awkward, pure, and unmarked from the evil of the world. She had her own spontaneous lovable way that I could never forget. I love the way her long foxy red hair streamed down her back, a waterfall of curls and waves. I loved the way her bright green eyes flashed when she got angry, yet looked calm as a sea when she daydreams. God I love her passion, the way she gets so completely lost in her own world, she lights up with an unforgettable brilliance. She was quirky and gorgeous. This chick was the envy of every girl and the daydream of any boy. Everyone wanted to kill her, kiss her, or be her. That is until they found out. Her walls started to crack and crumble before her eyes. Her past was a littered with tragic events and they began to rain on the future. She was a bundle of nerves. Depression, anxiety, food disorders, you name it. She was breaking down as she watched her own personality get made up of tests and pills. Drugged to ease the pain yet the ocean of anti depressants drowned her dreams and her passion.

Now she stands shaky on the edge of a bridge, wishing her life away. Time stands still, seeming to await the decision that could lead to the end of this one girl's existence. Her emerald eyes clouded with angry tears. Memories stir pain afresh, urging her, despite the desperate muffled voices behind her, to allow her fingers grasping the bridge to simply let go. Savanna forgot them. Stunning still, even with the sparkling tears that adorned her face in jewels, she felt her fingers unclench. A sickening feeling of lurching forward, pitching herself to the dark waters. It was not horror, nor fear that filled her last moments. It was the sinking hallow feeling of regret. Echoing in the young man's eyes as he watched the love of his life give up her life. Half of himself gone into the cold suffocating grip of the ocean.

White, burning, and familiar, I came gasping back into the room of haunts. Sadness filled my being for this girl. I had never met her yet I felt this tugging as though I had known her for years. Her eyes haunted my head, tantalizingly close yet so far away. My voice cracked as I murmured out one word "Savanna."
