As the interviews progressed, more and more people were escorted into what seemed like a large living space, in the center of the room was a sectional that wrapped almost all the way around in a semicircle. Ethan had been the fifth person to walk in, he awkwardly waved and chose a spot near the middle that kept him distanced from anyone else. One girl had shifted closer and waved, a small smile on her face. Ethan returned the gesture and was about to pull out his phone when she started talking.

"I kinda feel weird about all this," she laughed shyly, hands clasped and resting on her legs. She was very pretty, with brown wavy hair, green cargo shorts, and a black tank top. It seemed to Ethan that she was anxious, and for some reason, she had decided he was someone she felt comfortable trying to talk to, so he obliged.

"Tell me about it," he scoffed, keeping his voice low so he didn't disturb the other people in the room, someone else had just been walked in and sat on one of the ends, "was the director guy nice to you too?"

She nodded, "Yeah, that made me feel a bit better. But now I'm, like, kind of uncomfy just sitting in here," she laughed, "I'm Amy, by the way."

Ethan smiled, finally pulling out his phone as he kept talking, "Nice to meet you, Amy, I'm Ethan."

The two spoke for a while, eventually just showing each other memes they found. He learned that Amy had a dog, Henry, so he pulled up pictures of Spencer. They were sharing their favorite pictures and stories of their fur babies when a man sat down next to Ethan, he looked up to see that the sectional was now full, then craned his neck to look at who had sat next to him. The man looked Ethan in the eyes before quickly diverting his gaze with an awkward laugh.

"Sorry," he said, "all I saw was a dog and I didn't even think how rude it is to look over someone's shoulder,"

Ethan struggled for a second to catch his breath, this guy was stunning, and his voice was crazy deep. He shook his head slightly and focused on his phone again, scrolling to the next picture.

"No problem, man," he finally said, sitting back a bit so the man could look at his phone easier, "join the party, Amy over here has pictures too."

Amy smiled and held her phone out for him to see, and the guy grinned, he took out his phone and showed the other two his lock screen: him crouched down with an adorable golden retriever. Ethan and Amy "aww"ed in unison. Ethan was about to ask what the dog's name was, only to be interrupted by Ross' voice booming into the room, he ran in and stopped at the front of the sectional, giving everyone a view of him as he announced,

"Alright, folks! We're finished with interviews for today. Right now you're in the common room, it's somewhere we can stop to discuss the progress of the show and make announcements on who has been eliminated every two weeks. You can also just hang out here any time you want. Does anyone have any questions, comments... Concerns?" He asked, hands folded together in front of his chest.

"Do we know who's leaving today yet?" Some guy asked, Ross shook his head.

"Good question, but no, you'll receive an email by 9 tomorrow morning letting you know. If you didn't qualify, however, don't fret. You'll have a day to spend in L.A. and one more night in your hotel, and a plane waiting for you the next day. We got you covered." The guy who'd asked the question nodded and sat back,
