The water trickles down the curve of the leaf
As the raindrops down your cheek
Your perseverance is a tree after a nearby
ThunderstruckYet here you lie
As steady as a rock
You hold firm to your beliefsStreaks like water will evaporate
As will your thunder and fists of rage
You are no weakling
You will not wiltAs you start to tilt your head downwards
Nature tells you to lift it up
Release your rain but do not go back to the source
Of strainLook up!
As the Queen of the Savanna
You will have pride
You are no trophy prizeListen to your Mother
