Chapter 8: Reasons

:Seth's POV:

     I was already on my way to school and I saw John and the rest of the gang. I ran up to them and they greeted me.

     "Have you guys seen Dean," Glenn asked us. As far as I was concerned, I didn't care where that fucker was. I have my reasons for betraying him. If anything I did him a favor.

     "Nope, " we all said in unison. We do that quite a bit.

     "Wait," John said as he beckoned us forward. We started moving forward then John started talking again," Is that Dolph?"

   "Looks like him," I said turning that way. I squinted my eyes and walked forward to get a better look.

:Dolph's POV:

     I was walking to school when I heard people talking. I looked over to my left and saw  Seth and a few more figures that I couldn't quite make out. ButI wasn't dumb. I knew exactly who was behind him- John, Glenn, Daniel, Ryan, Randy, Sheamus and Dave. The worst part was they were heading right towards me. I was about 2 streets away from reaching Paige's house where I would pick her up. I really didn't want to get there with a black eye. I wasn't afraid of them, I just knew I would lose the fight. I scurried off hoping they wouldn't notice me walking faster. To my surprise I didn't hear any footsteps behind me. I secured my surroundings to make sure they didn't follow me. About 3 minutes later I arrived at the yard of Paige's home. She was on her phone waiting for me to actually get there.

     "Where the hell have you been," she askwd me getting up from her bench that is on her porch. She looked a bit pissed at me but I had my reasons.

     "I always get here at 6:15, maybe you started waiting for me to early," I told her as she walked down her driveway.

     "Maybe," she said as we headed down the street. We were about 7 minutes away from the school when we bumped into someone.
