Chapter 13: The Fight

Dean's POV

   "So you ready for the fight Dean," Chris asked me as we walked towards the field. Roman, Paige and Dolph said they would meet us there.
   "Sure. I mean Zack isn't even that strong," I told Chris as we neared the field. "I can definitely take him."

   Chris and I walked past the front of the school. We turned and saw the field. We saw a group of people and then I noticed Zack. I suddenly became really nervous. Having my ass beat by John wasn't nearly as embarrassing as it would be to get it beat by him. I felt a hand pat my back and then realized that Roman, Paige and Dolph had arrived.

   "So, you ready?" Paige said as she started forward to the field. She was walking ridiculously fast which made th guys start moving forward as well.

   "Uh.....yeah," was all Dean could say. I  was a really fast guy but Paige was faster, I guess.

   "Of course you are," and we'll be there if you need any help," Chris said as he sped up.

   "Yah, help isn't a bad thing," Dolph added on as I looked over to see Roman smiling. I never realized how nice of a smile he had. That smile was hella sexy. Wait, what?! I'm straight. I have a date with a girl this Friday or is it this Saturday, god he messsed with my head.

   I turned my head and ignored that sexy smile. "Yah, I guess help wouldn't be bad," I added bit didn't emphasize help as much as they did.

   "I'm sure you won't even need our help," Roman said as we had reached the field. I had to fight the urge to look at him. I wanted to look at him so bad.

   "Well, look who decided to show his face," Zack said as he stepped out of his posse moved out of the way for him, "and you brought a group of neanderthals, too!"

   Wow, his trash talk is worse than his hair, and that's saying something. I looked over behind me and saw Roman put his hand on my shoulders. "You got this," he said as he then let go far too soon. I hope he doesn't touch me again, I don't need an erection right here, right now. I slipped off my backpack and Chris took it with open hands.

   "Let's just get this over with," I said as I stepped forward trying to not let Roman cloud my thoughts.

   "Lets," Zack said as he had stepped forward. I looked him dead in the eye and brought my fist back. "STOP, I give up, I give up, don't hurt me please have mercy oh god please don't hurt me." He had dramatically dropped to the floor.
  

~Roman's POV~

   Dean had lowered his fist after Zack's embarrassing breakdown, nonetheless. Zack had but his hand in front of his face. I walked forward and placed my hand on Dean's shoulder.

   "Guess you won," I told him as I took my hand down. Dean turned and nodded. He bit his lip and then quickly left my side to get his backpack. He lowered it to his lower-stomach/crotch area.

   I looked down and saw Zack getting up. I walked over to him and he backed away slowly. "Next time, let's see more 'bite' than 'bark.'" I told him as I patted his back lightly. I then turned back and looked at my friends. It's nice to be able to say they are my friends.

   "Lets go to my house," Dean suggested as we all made our way off the field, "my mom isn't home but-" he stopped as I had accidentally brushed up against him.

   "But what?" Dolph asked as he tried to speed up.

   "But...... she won't mind," Dean finally choked out, "only if you guys want to that is."

   "I'm down, how about you guys," Paige said as she slowed down noticing that she was going way too fast for the guys.

   "Sure why not," everyone else said but Dean. Dean was acting weird. Maybe he was still nervous about the fight.

   "A-alright, let's go then," Dean said as he still held his backpack in the same place. He had started to drift back and then ended up on the left of Chris. Was he trying to avoid me?!================================== ===============================================================

So I had writers block for this story but I definitely know where I  want this story to go. Every Thursday will be an update for this story and for my other story it will be Tuesday just so you know.

Also, I've been wanting to write another story about Ambarrett because why not. So I do plan to write it. Just so you know, it's coming soon.
