My alarm goes off at 6:45 to get my ass to school. I got up, showered, all the normal things. When I walked into the kitchen to make something for lunch, I got a message from Clay.
----------Bestie!!----------
Clay- Good morning! I made you lunch for today, it is in your fridge (I gave it to Nick after you were asleep). Throughout the day, I am going to message you at the start and end of every class (I got your schedule from George). Then after school, I will pick you up and our time will start. I don't want the other guys to get more brownie points, but they did help me out with today. Also, you don't have to respond to the messages. I'm expecting to be left on read.
This is so thoughtful! And its nice that you were man enough to ask them for help. Thank you for the lunch and all the messages soon to come! I will see you at 2:30! -Y/N
----------------------------------
I looked in the fridge to see a brown paper bag with a sticky note on it. It read, "I can't wait to kiss" (But "Kiss" was crossed out) "I mean see you later". I toke the sweet note off of the bag and took a picture of it.
Once I was all ready to go, I walked out of the door to my first class. The day was slow, but Clay kept up to his promise. At the start and end of every class I got a small message. It was either something really corny, stupidly hilarious, or semi inspirational. Honestly, it was the only thing that kept me going today.
Finally 2:30 rolled around and I was let out of class. I stopped at a vending machine so I could get some caffeine before I saw Clay. That's when someone tapped on my should and said,
Clay: You won't be needing this.
He then proceeded to take the bottled coffee out of my hands.
Y/N: You scared the shit out of me! I thought you were some stranger stealing my drink. And why won't I need it?
Clay: because the first- Well second thing on the agenda is a couples nap.
It was strange to hear him call us a couple. I was so use to him just calling me a friend, or even best friend. But never couple.
Y/N: So then what's the first?
Clay: You have home work don't you?
Y/N: Clay. Are you really about to make me do home work instead of literately anything else we could do together.
Clay: Don't make me remind you on how well I know you. School is important, and you like to procrastinate. if you don't do it now with me, then you will forget about it and never do it. But don't worry, you have a nice nap waiting for you afterwards.
Y/N: I hate how right you are. I also hate how good that nap sounds.
Clay: So then, lets go.
Clay led me to his car and we drove straight to his house. I told him about my day and how much I loved his messages. He told me about what he had been up to and how patches missed me. When we arrived, Clay grabbed my bags and opened the front door for me. I walked in and went straight for the couch. Before I was able to sit down Clay yelled at me.
Clay: What are you doing?! Get over here! You have homework!
I did the walk of shame over to his table. I sat down and pulled out all of the work I had to do. Thankfully it wasn't too much. Clay just sat next to me and watched while I worked. He would occasionally scroll on his phone but that was it. After about an hours worth of work, I was finished. Clays head popped up when I slammed my book shut.
Clay: All done?
Y/N: Yepp! Nap time!
I got up and started to walk back to the couch. But Clay stopped me for the second time.
Clay: Stop.
Y/N: What now?!
Clay: Why are you going to the couch?
Y/N: Because it's nap time...?
Clay: Haha, oh come one now. We are closer than that. You're sleeping in my bed with me. It's much better than a couch.
I just froze for a second. I had to process what he just said.
Y/N: Okay.
He led me up the stairs to his room. He opened the door and let me in first. I look off my hoodie to reveal a normal shirt underneath. I then hopped into his bed and got under the covers. I began to watch Clay to see if he was coming or not. That's when he took off his hoodie to show no shirt underneath. Then he hopped in bed with me. He immediately pulled me in so I became a little spoon. We used to do this in middle school, but it was never like this. His warmth was so comforting, so I fell asleep quickly.
After about two hours of sleeping, I started to wake up. Clay could feel me beginning to move and woke up as well.
Clay: Hey
His morning voice was so attractive.
Y/N: Hi
Clay: Are you ready?
Y/N: For what?
Clay: The rest of out date silly.
Y/N: So the messages, homework, and nap wasn't it?
Clay: Nope. I know that for relationships to work, you need to be able to understand your partner. So I want you to understand what I do. Today I am going to stream some speed runs. You can watch me and just be there with me, or I can teach you and you can be the one playing.
Y/N: Really?
Clay: Yeah. Is that okay?
Y/N: That's more than okay! I would love for you to teach me!
Clay gives me one good squeeze before getting out of bed. He doesn't put his hoodie back on and just goes straight to his gaming chair. He then sits down and pats his lap. I get up and grab my hoodie. On my way to him, I put it on. I then sit down on his lap and he tucks us in under his desk.
Clay then messes with a bunch of settings and starts his stream. He then explains to chat what he is doing and why I was there. We didn't explain that it was a date, just two friends. We played for a long time. Around 10 pm, Clay ended the stream and closed the game.
Clay: I should take you home.
Y/N: That's probably for the best
I grabbed my crap and go into his car. The drive was relaxing. We just sang softly along to the radio. When we arrived, he walked me up to the dorm and gave me a peck on the cheek goodnight.
Clay was the only one who didn't fully kiss me. It was because he knew that he didn't need to. The day was amazing as it was. Nothing else needed to happen.
Three perfect dates. Three perfect guys. I can't keep them waiting for forever. But I can't decide yet. It would be mean of me to keep doing the date after date thing. What if I took them on a group date?
