I had just started my day walking around L'Manburg. I had always loved looking at the lanterns in the sky. I never questioned them though. I see someone making a lantern but I couldn't tell who it was.
I got closer to the figure but soon met nothing except air. The lanterns were being created in their own... from thin air? Doesn't seem realistic, but the 'air' let the now created lantern free and grabbed all of its supplies.
I followed the floating supplies to the sewer. I didn't mind the water. It wasn't dirty, it was clean enough that koi fish could live there. I followed the supplies to a door. The 'air' turned into a ghost.
The ghost had brown hair, brown eyes, the perfect smile, it was almost impossible to look away from the perfect creature. It was wearing a mustard yellow jumper and black ripped Jeans. It's black boots was noisless as it walked perfectly. Their off colored skin made the perfect glow against the torches.
As soon as the figure was inside, I went up to the door and opened it with a little hesitation before it swung open. The figure looked up from it's open chest.
'Oh, hello there. Who are you?' It's voice was a little raspy but it complemented the soft and echoey voice.
'Hi...' was all I managed to squeak out.
I walked closer to the figure mesmerized by it's perfect form. I didn't dare to take my eyes away from it.
'My name is...' I lifted my hand and tried to grab the figure's soft sweater, which worked. In my confusion, my hand trailed softly up his chest onto his shoulder and slid down his arm.
'Whoa...'
He looked at me confused on what I was doing.
'What are you doing?' He spoke, making me snap out of it. I shook my head and scrunched my face.
'Oh my god,' I squeaked as I hid my face with my hands in horror and embarrassment, 'I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to.'
'It's okay,'
He drew nearer to me and grabbed my hands, pulling them away from my face. He quickly let go and slowly grabbed my face, placing my cheeks in his hands. The action caused me to blush.
', you're the first person I've seen this close since I died.'
I grabbed his hands keeping them there as his warmth radiated on to me.
'O-oh?'
I couldn't speak easily. He was really pretty and his perfect glow lit the place up softly.
'What's your name, cupcake?'
My eyes widened as the butterflies and blush grew. I gulped, trying to regain confidence.
'Y-Y/n, sir. What's your's?'
'Ghostbur.'
Our hands slid to hold each other's before releasing them back to ourselves.
'Would you like some food? You look hungry.'
'Yes, please.'
He walks over to another chest and grabs a loaf of bread. He closes the chest and walks back over to hand it to me. I gladly take it.
I take a bite out of the surprisingly warm bread.
'Mmm!'
'You like it?'
I nod my head up and down. He grabs my hand and leads me to a bed.
'Sit.'
I sit down at his command. Our hands are still folded into each other's. I ate the bread silently. When I finished a voice spoke up.
'Do you want to go to the flower field sometime?'
'There's a flower field?'
'Yeah, it's not far from here.'
'I love flowers! Yes!'
